Chapter 2: The Valintine Family

"Stop yelling nonsense and leave already, I've already grown tierd of both of you bothering my work!" The old my screeched and shooed them off as he walked off into a dark and bearly lit hall.

Nyx, who was curled up in a corner, raised her head at the sound of the old man's footsteps. At this point she had been inside of her new cell for a couple weeks and had suffered through a plethora of experiments and tests, also in this time, her body had become skinny and frail looking and her hair matted and tangled.

"Ke Ke ke, I'm back little fox.. Did you miss papa?" The old man croaked, but only received a silent glare in return.

"Awee come on don't give me that look.. You know the drill, I just need a little blood and then you can go back to sleep" The old man said smilingly as if his words were perfectly normal.

Nyx still didn't respond and continued to match the man's gaze.

The man frowned but didn't say anything more as he came up to the bars of her cage needle in hand.

However what he failed to notice was that the shadows around Nyx had begun shift and contort to stretch all across her cell causing the entire area around her to suddenly turn pitch black.

The man was shocked for a second and frowned in displeasure.

"Little fox that's enough games, come out so I can get my sample" He said in a harsh tone"

But he was only offered an eerie silence. In the corner of the cell two glowing silver eyes sat unblinking staring at the old man from the darkness.

"Run... Runn.. Runn little piggy hehe" Said a childish voice called causing the the old man's hair to stand on end.

"Wh- who the hell are you calling a pig? Learn to respect your elders fox!!" The man hollered and wailed trying to keep up an act of a superior, but in reality it he was already throughly frightened. Nyx had never done anything to this extent before and he had no idea how to handle the situation.

"Hehe Mommy look~~ The little pig wants to scare us hehe" Nyx giggled with a wide grin on her face, of course the old man could not see this.

"Hey mommy, why don't we have some fun? Hmm I wander how much damage can a human take before death" Keeping up her cute and childish voice Nyx slowly stepped out of the darkness still showing off her award winning smile.

"What are you talking about!! Your mother is dead!! And there's no way a small brat like you can escape from my prison!" Gaining some of his confidence back the Old man began to yell and shot one more and even took a step forward.

"Hehe~ Mommy the little piggy is so funny... he said that your dead" Nyx smile widened further as she cooked her head slightly to the side.

"She is dead!! It happened right infront of me! Now sto-"

"Oh? But my mommy is right here?" Suddenly loosing her smile Nyx made a small gesture with her and hand and from the shadows behind her a figure made from a blackish purpe aura grew from the floor.

The figure was a beautiful fox woman with long hair that went just past the knees and a muscular yet curvy figure that was hidden behind a simple chinese style dress. Behind the figure 3 tails could be seen moving in harmony with each other.

Upon the figures face a sinister grin was plastered, however this grin was much more eerie and frightening then the fox standing just beside It, and to add to the sketch factor we're its two slited amber eyes that stood out from the blackish aura it was made from.

"See I told you mommy is right here~~ Mommy wouldn't leave me.. Why would you lie like that?" Nyx said frowning.

As if sensing her displeasure, the shade next to her suddenly softened there expression and bent down to pet the little trouble make behind the ear.

"Mommy im sorry was I being bad? Please don't leave!" Nyx said with a pout as she clung to the shades leg.

The shade simply shook its head in a indulging manner and continued to pet the small child's head, all the while the old man stood there in a loss for words.

"H- how is this possible?! Your powers shouldn't have awakened yet!! Especially since- " The old man began but paused when he saw the pile of uneaten food tucked away in the far corner of the room.

"Those basterds!!" The old man gritted his teeth as he slowly began to back away from the bars of the cage.

"Mommy the little piggy is trying to escape.. I'm hungry catch it for me?" Nyx whined while never loosing the crazed look in her eyes.

The shade simply nodded before lifting his head to meet the gaze of the frightened old man, who was now in the middle of turning around to escape.

But of course the shade wasn't going to allow this.

The shade gently pushed Nyx off its legs and then without making a sound it vanished without a trace.

Seeing this the old man began panic and frantically look about, but his efforts where for not. Faster then the old man could react the shade suddenly reappeared behind him.

Feeling an overwhelming force grasp the back of his head the man could only clench his teeth and brace for impact as he was thrown straight through the bars of the cell like a ragdoll.

"Ugg.. shit" The old man swore with ringing ears and swimming head.

"Welcome back~ Mr.Piggy~"

Mr. Valintine, please, I beg you to stop this! Just because your family funds the countries military dosnt mean I can turn a blind eye to this!! You cannot just invade a privately owned home based on no evidence!"

A rather well dressed and pudgy man yelled trying to convince his friend against his course of action.

"President Myers, this is my daughter and fiancee we are talking about!! I will not rest, nor will I let anyone stand in my way till I am sure they are both safe! Understood?" Valintine hissed as he glared down at his pudgy friend.

"Val, I understand that I really do, but please try to understand my side of this! How do you think the public will react if they see me giving you special treatment! Besides didn't you say your fiancée took the child and ran back to her clan??"

Hearing these words Valintine instantly became livid and grabbed his friend by the collar.

"For the hundredth time.. Stay out of my private life!! And since you had to know I let her leave.." He sneered and pushed Myers away.

"Move in and sweep the place leave nothing unturned!!" Valintine ordered to the squad of soldiers standing behind them, who instantly obeyed and began storming the large and old manor before them.

"Yoru.. Nyx.. Please be safe.."
