Chapter 33

Aurora's POV

I found a school near my office and I immediately loved it. Thomas seemed to enjoy it too as he looked around the walls.

I took a week off before he began so I could take care of him and spend some time. It was the first day of school and I was anxious.

What if he cries?

What if the other kids aren't being nice to him?

So many things could go wrong.

I was about to completely give up on school when Ronin rolled his eyes at me.

"Are you honestly crying?" I didn't even realize I was. I quickly wipe the tears.

"No," I mutter and he laughs at me. Thomas waddles out.

"Hi, mommy." He mumbles sleepily, he was fully dressed but he looked tired.

He knocked right into my leg, leaning his head on my thigh.

"Hello, there baby." I smile lifting him and he touches my cheek.

"Why are you crying?" He asks.

"I just don't wanna see you go." He gives me a groundbreaking smile, giggling as he lays on my shoulder. "What's so funny?"
