Chapter 32

AN: Warning, Riser gets a redhead waifu for himself. I can almost feel the comments hitting me in the face.

"I am drained, I didn't even remember I was supposed to meet with Japanese authority." I mutter to myself loudly enough for Phenex's to hear.

Most of the visitors have left, and they left satisfied knowing I am not here to summon a giant hentai tentacle monster as well. Yes, that was a major concern apparently.

Lavinia confirming the safety of my systems and Yasaka confirming I am not corrupted by malice helped my case.

The reason I am parroting to myself is to bait Ravel... That sounded wrong. I look over to Riser, he got stronger by a large margin. He has stopped showing his chest, he is wearing his shirt properly.

I don't know if he's still talking in the third person since he never did that with me but he no longer looks like an antagonist. You know how he was drawn like a villain in LN at first then his features softened to show he is good now. Yeah like that.

"Have you thought about getting a manager Merlin-sama?" Riser asks.

"Yes, but where am I going to find a decent manager without any hidden agendas." Riser nods in understanding. "The only one I can think of is in Asgard but getting her would require me to meet Odin and deal with Loki."

Odin was perverted enough to flip Akeno's skirt mid-battle, she could only laugh it off because he is a Chief God. I am not about to talk about justice and what's right or wrong here. I like his character. If I was in Odin's place I would do the same but, I doubt we'd get along in real life. I don't particularly like Rossweisse either, it is better to stay away from Asgard.

"May I volunteer Merlin-sama? I know I am young but I managed my brother's Peerage, now that he is training regularly, he came to a point he no longer needs my services." Ravel throws herself with an innocent expression. She doesn't have ulterior motives, not one bit...

"Ravel..." Riser sighs at her sister bashing him with no remorse.

"I can't accept that without talking with your parents Ravel. So let's shelve that for now." I ignore her fist bump and wink at Riser.

He is smart enough to understand me, as seen by his soft smile. "Then why don't we invite Merlin-sama again Ravel? I am sure he would love to eat your pastries again." Riser assists.

"Really!? Merlin-sama liked them?"

"Well, they were the best I ate." After all my girls don't cook deserts since I don't particularly like sweets. So I didn't lie to her.

I quickly exchanged numbers with Riser while Ravel was imagining things, she even has a clear thought bubble on her head. "She unconsciously does that illusion whenever she gets absent-minded." Riser explains.

"Well, it's cute." I comment.

The Phenex's couldn't stay for more due to having prior commitments and they left, leaving the house to its silence once again.

"Merlin are you busy?" I hear Gabriel.

"Not at the moment, what's up?" I look at her.

"Well, I am finished with today's work I was wondering if we can watch a movie." She pulls out Spiderman 2 from her boobspace.

Seriously that boobspace thing is broken, I can replicate it but I need to buff my chest muscles for it to work.

"Sure."

Once again I am back at Phenex Castle, eating Ravel's pastries. She got better since I last ate them.

I am discussing Ravel's intentions to become my manager with her parents. Well, I didn't have to do anything they were throwing Ravel towards me upon teleporting to the Castle.

"So I will be one bishop down, such a waste." I smile at Riser's sad expression. It is an innocent smile full of familial love... He is so taken back that he can't speak.

Of course, I have no intentions of taking Ravel while giving nothing. I have this weird sense of right and wrong that I can't just do that. This is also a perfect opportunity to bait Rizevim too.

I have been leaving traces whenever I make use of my <Dimensional Gate> while hoping he would learn about it. Learn about it and run into me, so I can kill him without bothering to search him with other spells.

"Then Riser, how about a trade? I will get you a suitable bishop."

"Ohh, Merlin-sama is too generous, I won't reject but can we see this bishop candidate?"

"Well, her condition is a bit tricky, so let me explain it first." Saying this I get up and conjure some screens.

There's an image of a 15-year-old redhead with red eyes. "Mio Naruse 15, possessor of Gravity Magic. She is a half-demon from another world." I turn around to see their shocked faces. "Please, don't look at me like that. Avalon also counts as another world. The place elves and dwarves went counts as another world." Seeing them nod at my explanation, I start advertising Mio like a brand new car.

"Her heritage is similar to being Satan's daughter but her father sent her away to live like a normal human. Unfortunately said father just died and sealed all his power to her with an unknown technique before his death, causing his enemies to flock at the girl to steal the power." I stop to see if they have any questions.

"So we just need to save her?" Lord Phenex asks.

"No, unfortunately during the extraction something went wrong and she died alongside her foster family." I correct the upcoming misunderstanding.

Infinite worlds, infinite possibilities. While I doubt I will summon someone myself, I don't mind throwing Mio like this. This version wasn't going to survive in that version of Shinmai no Testament anyway, neither did Basara.

"I can summon her to this side just after her death, and Riser can reincarnate her. Considering she's half-demon already she doesn't have much in way of the afterlife so she would be grateful to her saviors." I grin at Riser's complicated expression.

I can read his mind just by looking at his face. Mio hits all the checkboxes he has for a waifu, but he also sympathizes with the girl. What happened during the rebellion fixed this guy up.

"She's a redhead with twin tails who's also tsundere little sister type. And her Gravity Magic is hereditary and would mix with yours without problems..." The last line was the final nail on Mio's coffin, she can't enter it anymore.

I can see Lady Phenex wiping her tears with a fond smile, what is she thinking about I wonder?

"Okay, since we agreed on this and already signed the contract for keeping this a secret let's get it over with." I say while rolling up the contract. The contract itself says they have to keep anything I deem as a secret to themselves.

It was a bit open-ended but Lord Phenex didn't care. I don't want people to know about Multiversal stuff. I mean they will eventually learn due to ExE but still.

I don't want anyone to come and ask me to summon them, powerful servants. Actually, that would be wonderful business, Multiversal slave company... Wait, that already exists.

"Now, come here Ravel. I will trade you with my bishop to free your brother's piece." Lady Phenex beckons her daughter only for me to stop them.

They already signed the contract to keep my secrets and I am planning on marrying their daughter, I can show my capabilities without worry.

I reach out to Ravel my hand going through her chest, before anyone could react I pull the crimson bishop from her soul.

"I trust this will be a secret, yes?" I throw the piece to Riser, I also discreetly alter the piece.

Someone other than Ajuka being able to pull the chess pieces out, that would spell trouble for devils.

Despite his recent power up Riser isn't strong enough to reincarnate Mio without a mutation piece. So I helped him out, after all, we're going to be in-laws.

Seeing them nodding I nod in return while patting Ravel's head, poor girl is flushed she thought I was going for her chest.

Once everyone got themselves back together we moved to another room. Mio will be no doubt covered in blood when she's summoned, no need to stain the carpets.

<Dimensional Gate> I connect to the desired world and focus on Mio. Pulling her to our side I move back as Riser approaches her bloody figure.

Mio has a gaping hole on where her heart should be and it looks unnerving. Riser places the Bishop piece on her forehead succeeding in reincarnating Mio, the hole in her chest regenerates and she takes a breath but she doesn't wake up.

I have no fears about her getting abused. Riser went through seasons worth of character development in just one day back during the rebellion.

In the end, Riser got himself a redhead and I got myself a manager. Pretty good trade if I say so myself.
