Runaway Soul

King Liam released an official statement to announce the birth of Prince Lucas and Princess Giselle. To celebrate the birth of the prince and the princess, they distributed rice to the public.

Master Woon quickly travelled to the palace to visit King Liam. He wanted to see Prince Lucas. At the fortified entrance, the royal guards do not recognise him and they do not grant him permission to enter the palace. He sighed and blew the whistle, giving a signal to his apprentices.

Yoona, Sora, Leah, and Mori ran following the echo of the whistle. Faran followed Mori. They saw Master Woon standing outside the gate, grumpy after being rejected by the royal guards.

They greeted Master Woon, "Master! What brings you here?"

Master Woon wiped the beads of sweat on his head. "I would like to see the little prince, and the queen too."

Sora smiled, "The child is a bundle of joy. The King's mother is so happy and wouldn't let him go."

Mori asked Master Woon, "How is Olena doing?"

Master Woon shook his head and told them, "Princess Giselle needs constant supervision. I sensed a bad omen in her. Spiders, scorpions, and centipedes constantly appeared regularly. To add on, a number of villagers living nearby the dungeon were killed. She seems like a cursed child."

Hearing that, they began to worry. "What else can we do?"

Master Woon shook his head, "Which is why I am here today. You all can't do anything. I am really eager to see Prince Lucas and Queen Ariel."

They nodded and brought him to Queen Ariel's chamber. King Liam got startled when he saw Master Woon standing at the door. It has been ages since they last met. He walked toward Master Woon to greet him.

"Master Woon! You came!" King Liam smiled at Master Woon. Queen Ariel looked at Master Woon, wondering why he was here.

King Liam introduces Master Woon to Queen Ariel. She greeted him with respect. Master Woon greeted Queen Ariel with a bow. He patted on Queen Ariel's shoulder.

Queen Ariel is carrying the baby on her arm. Master Woon saw a bright light in him. Prince Lucas had melted Master Woon's heart.

Master Woon dragged King Liam to a corner, "It's time for you to bring Olena back to the palace. She has been suffering beneath the dungeon for a long time now. If she continues to stay in the dungeon, she will absorb more negative energy."

King Liam had always missed Olena. Since Olena instructed him not to visit her, he obeyed. He agreed to Master Woon's suggestion. They travelled to the dungeon to bring Olena back to the palace.

In the dungeon, Master Woon advised Olena, "Stop tormenting yourself, Olena. You should live a happy life, not punishing yourself by staying in this dungeon. I thought of an idea to help you and King Liam with Princess Giselle."

Olena goes down on her bended knee, seeking help from Master Woon. "Please help me, Master Woon!" Tears brimmed in her eyes.

Master Woon patted her shoulder, "The first thing you should do. Move back to the palace to get rid of the negative energy in you. You have been absorbing a lot of negative energy recently by feeling upset. You need to put Princess Giselle and Prince Lucas next to each other."

Out of a sudden, a man jumped into the dungeon. King Liam and Olena gasped in surprise. How did he get in here? He could telepath into the dungeon.

Master Woon introduced him to them, "His name is Melvin. A high ranking immortal from the heavenly realm. He is the personal assistant to the jade emperor."

Melvin greeted everyone with a respectful bow. He suddenly stood frozen and whispered to himself, "He is the king in the mortal realm. I am the immortal. My rank is higher than him. Pft, why did I give him a bow?"

Melvin voices out, "I think you are aware, your children have inherited the magical power that was given to you by the jade emperor. I am here to absorb the magic power from Princess Giselle and Prince Lucas. I will give the magical power back to you both."

Master Woon looked at Olena, "He is also here to capture the soul of Aliyah in Princess Giselle. Let's see if this way can stop the entanglement between the two of you."

Olena disagreed about capturing the soul of Aliyah from Princess Giselle. She said, "If you capture my child's soul, it means that my child will die."

Melvin shook his head, "I can assure you, Olena, your child will not die."

Olena argued, "My child will become soulless."

Melvin interrupted, "When the right times come, a wonderful spirit will get into the body of Princess Giselle."

Olena's face is flooded with curiosity, "When will this happen? If you can replace Aliyah's soul with a wonderful soul, I will agree to proceed with your suggestion."

King Liam embraced Olena and whispered to her that he misses her a lot. Olena hugged King Liam in tears, telling him she misses him a lot too.

Master Woon has assigned Mori, Yoona, Sora, Leah, and Farah to prepare a few items. A wolf fang, some chicken blood, joss papers for him to perform the ritual. They go to the market nearby to search for the items.

Mori bumped into Princess Mona. Princess Mona lost her memory and forgot about Mori. But now, she is in love with Mori again. She greeted Mori and Mori greeted back with respect. Princess Mona followed Mori to the market to see what he was buying. Mori hides his affection towards her. Because of her noble status, and him being an orphan, he does not see a future in them.

King Liam brings Melvin to his chamber. Melvin touches Princess Giselle and Prince Lucas. He absorbed the magic power from them.

Master Woon began the ritual at the courtyard of the palace. Together with his apprentices, they held each other's hand in a circle. Master Woon gives an instruction, "We must not let each other's hand go. Melvin is going to capture Aliyah's soul now."

Melvin walked towards Olena and King Liam. He transferred the magic power back to them. Now, both of them have the magic power again, they can assign special abilities to five people.

Melvin explained, "I have retracted the special power from the prince and the princess, and transferred them back to both of you."

Queen Ariel is watching them from a distance. She is wondering what kind of ritual they are performing on her son. She keeps her faith in King Liam and believes in him. She obeyed his instruction not to go near his chamber.

Princess Mona is watching them from distance too. She was stalking Mori and curious about what they were doing. She saw a wolf fang dangling on a tree. She instructed her bodyguard to take down the wolf fang. She did not know that the wolf fang is meant for the ritual.

Melvin began to capture the soul of Aliyah in Princess Giselle's body. A powerful force pushes them down to the ground. They suffered from a massive blow.

Aliyah's soul released from the body of Princess Giselle but fled away from the palace.

Master Woon walked toward the tree and realized the wolf fang had gone from the tree. The wolf king could not catch Aliyah's soul. There's nothing they can do now. They sighed in anger, frustration and disappointment.

Melvin puts a soul into the body of Princess Giselle and he remembers the Peony flower metal stamp. Melvin asked Olena, "I remembered Jade emperor gave you a mould of the peony flower. Did you engrave into Aliyah's body?"

Olena nodded, "Yes, I did"

Melvin gives Olena an instruction, "Listen carefully. Please trace where Aliyah soul is."

Olena closes her eyes to trace Aliyah's location. She opened her eyes quickly, "I saw Aliyah. She just possessed the body of a young woman who just died."

Melvin smacked his head, "It's too late now, there is nothing we can do anymore. Technically Aaliyah is not dead. In the book of destiny, if they are not dead, it's against the law to capture their soul."

Master Woon shook his head, "Seems like the entanglement cannot break. Thank you for your help, Melvin. You have used a lot of cultivated energy to capture Aliyah's soul from Princess Giselle's body. If you continue, you may dissipate forever. You need to rest."

Melvin nodded to agree. In a blink, he has vanished from their sight. Returned to the heavenly realm to report to the jade emperor. The underworld lord and jade emperor jumped in anger when they found out that Aliyah had fled.

Princess Giselle and Prince Lucas cried very loud. Queen Ariel and Olena walk toward their babies to comfort them.

Aliyah has revived herself in the body of a maid. She woke up and put on makeup. Looking at herself in the mirror, she sees a beautiful face, silky long hair, delicate skins, flawless body shape. She is satisfied and thrilled with the beautiful face. "This beauty can entice many men."
