CHAPTER SEVEN - I mistook your roommate for a woman.

Eddie wakes up with pancakes up to her nose. Pancakes. She smiles gently as she gets out of bed, assuming Marc must be cooking. She goes to her closet to get dressed for the day. Luca's booming voice reverberates throughout the townhouse as she is snatching her jeans from the floor while changing into new underwear and a t-shirt.

The question "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?"

All of a sudden, she remembers what happened the night before. Parker spent the night there. She gives herself a little mental smack as she observes the empty left side of the bed.

She throws away her jeans and leaves her room wearing a band t-shirt from Luca and a pair of white cotton pants.

"Luca!" As she approaches the kitchen, she yells. The two males are engaged in a confrontation. keeping their eyes fixed on one another. Luca's forearm is touched by Eddie. "Luke. Settle down.

Parker accompanies Eddie and he instantly puts his arm around her waist. He pulls her firmly against his side, and she cringes a little. Eddie catches Luca's sad eyes as he peers between them. It only lasts briefly before being replaced by fury.

Mare walks into the kitchen, oblivious to the tense atmosphere.

"What in the hell, people?"

While still gazing at Parker, Luca ignores him. He speaks to Eddie while maintaining a fixed look.

"Who in the hell is this Eddison?"

"This is Parker, Luca. This is Luca Moretti, my roommate, Parker.

Parker glances to Eddie and displays a perplexed look.

"I believed your roommate to be a female."

Marc laughs himself out of the floor at Parker's confession.

Luca knocks his sibling aside. "Leave." At Parker, Luca hisses. Parker is seemingly protected as Eddie steps in front of him. Luca raises both of his hands. "Giuro su Dio Bella voglio tirarlo fuori!"

Eddie sneers at her housemate. "In English, Luciano!"

"I want him out, Eddison." Quietly, Luca says.

Eddie pulls Luca away from Parker by grabbing his wrist. They smell amazing, Parker. I only want to have a brief conversation with Luca.

Marcello, get up from the floor and say hello. As she yanks Luca out of the room, Eddie remarks somberly. He is dragged into her bedroom by her. "What the hell, OK? I've been woken up by numerous different women in this apartment and have remained silent. When I bring a guy home, you lose it. She said as she put her jeans on.

Without thinking, Luca advances and exploits their close closeness. He drags his thumb over her lower lip while cupping Eddie's face. Eddie screams when he touches him. Luca interrupts her as she starts to speak. "Shhh, cara." Luca leans in so that his lips are almost in direct contact with Eddie's. Eddie anticipates the outcome. Although a small part of her desperately wants to press her lips against his, her brain is telling her to push him away. Luca locks eyes with her before turning to peer at her lips as if seeking approval;

He exhales, "Bella."

As the door opens, the two start to move apart. In the doorway, Marc can be seen grinning at his brother.

"And what's happening over here?"

Eddie moves away from Luca by one more step. As she approaches the door, she responds, "Nothing." As Mare talks, Luca catches her wrist.

"Parker is looking for you, Eddie." Eddie releases himself from Luca's hold after Mare says.

"Thanks, Marc." Eddie goes out of her room. She considers what may have happened if Luca and her had not been interrupted as she makes her way to the kitchen down the hall. At the idea, she shakes her head. As she walks into the kitchen, Parker smiles at her.

What's going on? He inquires while projecting worry. Edward nods.

"Pancakes, then?" The two sit at the kitchen counter after Parker offers her a plate of pancakes. Saying "I'm sorry." After some while, Eddie remarks.

"For?"

"For not telling you that Luca was a guy."

I ought not to have presumed.

I should have given you a correction.

Parker shrugs and says, "He likes you." Eddie looks at him in disbelief. She repeatedly shakes her head.

"No, no. Simply put, he has never seen me with a man. not at all in the apartment.

Eddie says something, and Parker nods, but she can see he doesn't think she's telling the truth. Eddie leans her head on Parker's shoulder and places her hand on his leg. She does so in an effort to persuade Parker of her affections, but she is also persuading herself.

"What in the name of hell did I just walk in on?" Marc queries his sibling. Luca shoves past him and leaves Eddie's room. Luca enters his room while ignoring his sibling. "Luciano leak! I'm familiar with saws.

"Well, then, you tell me!"

You must express your feelings to her.

"Why? She currently has him.

Did you give him a glance? He didn't appear to be a man who had recently had sex. Parker was innocent in spending the night.

Luca made an effort to visualize what his brother was describing. He hoped it was accurate. He felt absolutely sick at the notion of Eddie with some person diving into her. Luca goes inside the dining room. To prove to Eddie that he can be a decent guy, he wants to befriend Parker.

As he walks by the kitchen, he notices Parker holding Eddie as his hands are balled into fists. He turns around and walks toward the front door while putting on the hoodie that was on the couch.

Asking "Where are you going?" Mare enquired as Luca was about to exit.

"Out." Luca yells and yanks his phone from his pocket. He placed the phone to his ear and dialed.

"What do you want, Luca?" Through the phone line, Kate's voice was snide.

"You. How about some fun? Luca responds, a smirk clearly present in his voice.

"Come on over in ten."

"I want you waiting, naked." Luca calls in with orders. He hears Kate laughing as he hangs up.

Exactly what he needs is here. a diversion.
