Chapter 3: Bai Jun

*Fu Yanjing's POV*That moment, a mischievous glint passed through his eyes as he thought of a plan. "Gongju, would you like to come spend some time with uncle?" Fu Yanjing asked the little bun who nodded slightly before looking at her dad for approval. "Don't tell me you want to use my daughter for whatever plan you are making. My daughter won't be part of any of your schemes." Fu Hua warned. "Don't worry brother. All I need is for Evie to like the lady I'll contract to be my girlfriend and she'll be able to help me convince mom" Fu Yanjing said"That's hardly possible. Jag-Eun Gongju doesn't like strangers and you know that." Fu Hua said"I know but don't worry I'm sure I can get her to like the lady. Anyways, I'll come pick her up in a few days. What do you think about that Gongju?" Fu Yanjing asked and he saw the little bun's eyes twinkle with excitement.*Lin Yixing's POV*As much as this job may sound hard, it is pretty easy. I finished my work and became bored so I optioned to play some games on my phone. That is, until my boss, Mr. Fu came out of his office and said "I have a meeting now, if anyone comes tell them I'm not around and don't let them in" He said in a bossy tone and left without waiting for my response just like the typical bossy ceo he was.Few minutes later, I went down for lunch and I sat with my bff. We talked about walk and she told me I was lucky not to have gotten fired for lateness. After lunch, we both returned back to our offices.Just when I thought today couldn't go any worse, a lady strode into the office and headed towards Mr. Fu's office like she owned the place. I quickly stopped her as I didn't want to lose my job."What are you doing?" I asked getting out of my chair"Who the hell are you to block me from entering?" She asked back seemingly annoyed."I'm Mr. Fu's assistant and he isnt in at the moment. Also, you can't go in without having an appointment" I informed her"Appointment? I don't need an appointment to see my boyfriend so move away you peasant" she retorted angrily and I folded my fist as my mind was screaming 'Don't reply her, just ignore' but it was already too late."I don't care who you are or what you mean to Mr. Fu but he isn't around and you can't go in there so you better suck it up and wait. You're not getting through that door because I say so and next time don't you call me names because I won't fold my fists and keep shut. You have two options, it's either you wait or you leave but either ways you aren't entering into the office" I said to her equally angry."How dare you? Just you wait for me. I'll make sure you lose your job today." She said and walked out angrily.I can't believe I just did that. I'm going to be fired on my first day. Way to go Xingxing. I should go down in guiness book of record for being fired on my first day at work.I waited for my boss to come back and about an hour or so layer he came. "Baby, I came to see you earlier but this trash stopped me and called me names" the lady from earlier said coquettishly while clinging to his arms. "Don't worry about it, I'll handle it for you" Fu Yanjing said and the lady left. I expected him to shout at me but instead he said " cancel all my meetings for the rest of the day" and was about leaving when I heard myself ask "Aren't you going to fire me?""You're the first lady to stand up to Bai Jun. Why would I fire you for doing the right thing?" and with that he left. Later on, Mr. Fu called me to his office."I'll be travelling for some business so you wouldn't be needed at work. Take it as a mini vacation. I'll be gone for 2 days" He said.
