SEARCH FOR THE PHOENIX 2

"Aunt Nero,why does papa hate me?",Maya asked her aunt who was dressing up for the banquet, Nero was surprised when she heard Maya asked that "What makes you think your father hates you Maya?",she asked

"Well..... papa never looks at me, he is always glaring at me and he gives me strict punishment everytime ,he never bothers to ask for my side of the story",She replied looking down at her feet.Nero crouched down to her level and raised her head up saying to her"Listen here young woman,your father doesn't hate you, you're his child after all,he just wants you to grow stronger ,I know that it's feels like his harsh to you but the truth is your father doesn't know how to express his feelings ",Nero said assuring the young princess

"Then ....do you think Papa's mate will like me?",Maya asked fumbling with dress.

"Of course, she's gonna love you, you're beautiful and smart and you're also her mate's child, she'll love you",Nero said with a big smile on her face that vanquished the young princess fears.

The ballroom was filled to the brim with maidens in different colors of dresses,the ministers stood by the side with their daughters and a few of their sons, nobles and royalties from different planets were already mingling with their peers to them this banquet was also the perfect place to form an alliance between two families so even if the crown prince's mate wasn't their daughters they could betroth their daughters to other influential young masters ,the same thoughts was going through Lord El-Naggar's minds ,he knew his daughter wasn't the crown prince's mate caused she was born an hour after the Phoenix star appeared,so he was staring at every young man he could find that would be a perfect match for his daughter but it was hard,it was like looking for a needle in a haystack cause for every five maidens you see there's only one male,so he was having trouble searching for the perfect young man for his daughter.

"Here comes ,his majesty the king ",The eunuch announced and every single person in the ballroom bowed showing their respect,while the men knelt,the women courtsied.

"Her royal majesty the queen".

"His royal highness,the crown prince ".

"Her royal highness,princess Nero and her beloved mate prince Patek.

"Her royal highness,Grand princess Maya ". Everytime the eunuch announced the crowd will bow and pay their respect ;When the royal family had sat down the king stood up and greeted his guest"As we wait for the Phoenix and Fireheart stars to align with the moon,we shall all sing and merry for today is my beloved son's one thousand equinox for two thousand years ago on the same day my dear son graced us with his presence in this world,so sing,dance and drink "the king said to his guests and they responded by cheering and applauding the king for his speech.

Mon El couldn't shake this feeling,it wasn't anxiety nor was it nervousness,it was something else, he couldn't place his hand on it but thankfully he wasn't the only one having this feeling cause the others could also feel it"I don't like this feeling Mon El,we should be looking for our mate,we shouldn't be here at all", Fireheart said anxiously,it just felt like something bad was gonna happen if they continue sitting down there and doing nothing.

"He's right,I don't like this one bit",blue dragon said

"Me too ",White tiger concurred

"This feeling,it feels familiar yet it don't, I'm having Deja Vu vibes you know ",Turtle snake said .They kept urging him to leave and go search for their mate,it was starting to tire him out ,the constant talking and yelling was killing him;It was at that moment that the stars aligned with the moon ,the mark of the fireheart on his body began to light up his hair turned red at that moment and was shining,at first he felt that fuzzy feeling,he heard a voice,a femine voice,then he felt sad at that moment he knew that this wasn't his emotions this were his mate emotions,then the stars light up and reflected on the glass windows and there she was ,in a spaceship of some kind;when the others in the room saw this whispers and murmurs filled the air, Mon El could only see her back and her shining blonde hair then he heard her say"You've been protecting me for so long brother,this time let me be the one to protect you",he could hear the sadness in her voice,but the thing was he wasn't the only one able to hear her all those in the hall were able to hear her too. Mon El felt a searing pain on his forearms then it went up to his body ,the pain was excruciating yet he didn't scream knowing that what she was feeling was worst than what he was feeling at that he saw her round shaped face, eyes as red as crimson tears streaming out of them,it was clear she was the one keeping that meteorite in place but he knew she had neared her limit.

"We should have gone to find her,now see what you've caused", Fireheart yelled in his head

"We're going to lose her again after searching for so long", Blue dragon said.He could feel their pain,it was his fault,they were right."I'm sorry",he said as he continued staring at his mate,he couldn't hear nor see who she was talking to but it seems she wanted to protect them as she turned her focus back on the meteorite and put her hands down, the meteor came at her with speed, she turned one last time ,a smile etched on her face "Thank you big brother".The force with which the meteor ram into made it to explode boom was the sound they all heard,at her death Fireheart forcefully came out of Mon El's body as he roared ,pain and sadness was what Mon El was feeling he yelled so hard the palace shook and the light of the Phoenix star dimmed until it was turned to dust.
