Fix Me Phantom (6)

I woke up tied up next to Sam. "Idiots", I thought. I went through the ropes and untied Sam. "Hello there", I heard a voice behind me. It was the owner of the tech company.

"Look sir we were just kids having some fun please let us go we won't do it again", I said. "I know your friend there is Samuel Ashton". "But then it came to you". My heart started to beat rapidly. "I wondered how you jumped out of a window on the 35th floor without a scratch".

"Then how you got away so fast". "Your name is Mackenzie Russel and you were born in 1967 meaning you should be 41 but you don't look a day over 20". "But here's the catch..you died in 1984". I slapped Sam so that he would wake up. "We need to go", I said holding him in my arms.

I shoved my way past the owner and ran out the door. Sam looked up at me and our eyes locked again. I didn't notice that a car was headed our way. I looked up and my heart dropped. I closed my eyes and when I opened them I figured out we both went through the car.

I laughed a bit and realized we were downtown. "What do we do", Sam asked me. "We break-in". "But won't they recognize us"? We both looked at a shop with suits in it.

We went in and grabbed a suit. We went into the fitting rooms and put them on. Then I walked us through the wall. "Looking good Sam". "You to Mac". Soon we arrived at the Tech building.

I walked us through the door and we walked to the elevator. We stepped inside and so did two other men followed by a woman. "Where you guys headed", a man asked. "We are working on the E.C.P", Sam said. "Cool are you guys residents or consociates"?

"We are Consociates", I told them. "Only residents work on E.C.P". Me and Sam looked at each other. Sam punched one man out cold and then grabbed my hands. I jumped up kicking the girl in the face.

Then I choked the other man until he passed out. I stood there and fixed my collar. When the elevator opened we walked straight out. We found our way to the board room. We knocked out the security guard and then walked in. I let out a sigh of relief then fluffed my hair back up into an afro.

I put my suitcase on the table and then grabbed the blueprints. I read them before ripping them to shreds. "So", Sam was waiting for an answer. "The microchips are in the room next door". We walked over there and walked into the room.

The door closed behind us. The room was pitch black. The room was lit up by red lasers everywhere. "Hold my suitcase", I asked Sam, giving it to him. I ran through the lasers making sure not to touch them.

I walked up the wall some before doing a backflip-off. Then I did a front flip over another laser. Then I did a triple roll flip between the last two lasers. I pressed the red button on the other side turning on the lights and the lasers off.

I sensed someone behind me. "Mac"! I turned around and made myself intangible. A man fell right through me. I jumped up kicking him in the throat.

He fell to the ground gasping for air. An alarm started to go off and red lights flashed. "Grab the microchips", Sam shouted. I stuffed the microchips in my pockets and ran. I didn't notice that one fell out of my pocket.
