Past Five Days
I was awaken by the sound of my alarm clock. I jump of the bed to do my morning routines. I'm in the middle of brushing my hair when I heard a knock. So I quickly finished doing my hair to know who is knocking.
"Yes, Aya? " as I opened the door.
"Good morning miss! I have a good news for you" as my personal maid greeted me.
"Come in, this better be really good or I'll fire you" my maid paled in reaction.
"Ah-ahm let me start, YOU'RE FINALLY GOING OUTSIDE!!!" she cheerfully reminded me.
I'm still at shock.
"Miss are you okay?" she asked and brought me back from my reverie. I walked towards the door to close it.
"I'm okay, come again please?" trying to clear my thought's 'cause she got to be kidding me.
"Miss I'm telling you the truth, your father wants you to know the outside world or the city outside this mansion. Are you happy?"
"No. I'm just shocked, Aya you know I've never been outside this prison I mean mansion" I smiled weakly.
"Okay, they'll give you time to think five days after you will be travelling or exploring outside, perhaps find a good friend" she said while walking towards the door still leaving me speechless and shocked.
Soon as she closes the door I quickly searched for my phone to tell my one and only friend outside. I scanned my contacts to find his number then called it immediately. Two more rings the he picks up.
"Good morning!" I said out of nervousness.
"What is it Alice? You know I have classes today" he answered with a tired voice.
"Yeah, but this is urgent" still nervous.
"Okay, I'll listen fire it" then grunted.
"IM GOING OUTSIDE CAN YOU ESCORT ME PLEASE!!!!!" I blurted out then heard a loud thud on the phone.
"Valn, are you still there? " I asked him with a worried voice.
"Sorry I dropped my phone. Alice! You're not bluffing right" he's asking assurance I guess?.
"Yes valn… I'm telling you the truth. My maid told me, I'll talk to dad later"
"So this is URGENT. Hey I'll keep you company when you got out" I feel him smiling through the phone.
"Thank you in advance! I guess I have to go to dad now. Bye sweet dreams!"
"Bye, I'll be waiting for you" he said lastly then I hanged up.
Once again I fixed myself on the mirror while still looking at my phone. Okay I'm ready! I walked through the hallway to the fourth floor then knocked on his door. Seconds after knocking his body guard opened the door. I was welcomed by liquors on the table and smoke. Dad is just sitting at his chair while looking at me walking towards the visitor sit.
"Good morning dad" I said disgusted by his place. Idont even know why does he have to smoke inside his office, but whatevver it's his place.
"Good morning daughter, excited?" he asked out of concern.
"So it's true that i'll be outside next five days, okay what are the conditions" I knew him perfectly. Because some of the time's- no most of the time's he tells me to study this and that in exchange of things that I want.
So my father does not do anything without reasons or conditions.
"Don't worry daughter there is no conditions involving this. I just want you to see the real world perhaps try the world outside" he said while placing his elbows on the desk.
"Dad please continue, I'm going to listen" I said completely intrested by his up coming answers.
"I want you to experience the city, the environment outside, the people and some other thing you can't do here in the mansion. Then do it outside, I'm giving you one whole year and so on. And in order to experience everything I'm letting you go outside" he said looking at me intently.
"How about my place Dad? will I have my allowance, and am I going to continue school there?" I asked getting nervous.
"Darling you'll have everything you pleases. You will be having a monthly allowance of 50,000 cash and your maid will come with you" he said while tilting his head.
"And again the place I'll be staying near the school?" I added.
"Oh! That, I'll wait till you have chosen your school then find you a nice house or a high class condominium near your school so you can easily go there with no worries or you would like a driver also"
"Okay, it's settled. I'll go now" I said bidding him goodbye with a smile.
I closed the door and planning to eat breakfast-no brunch. I walked down the stair case thinking what I'll do next. Hmm… find a good school near a hospital for emergencies, travel on weekends, bring Valn with me, find new friends and experience new things. Hmm sounds nice.
Stepping on our first floor I walk my way to our dinning area. I twisted the door knob and slowly pushed it to enter the dinning area. I saw my cousin and brother eating with my mother on the table. As I walked towards my seat my mom approached me and gave me a hug I hugged her back in exchange. I sat on my seat and picked my food then settled on my seat eating.
"Alice I heard you're going outside for goodness sake" my cousin started a conversation.
"Yeah…finally" I sighed. My brother chuckled so it got my attention.
"You think it's fun outside? Please lower your expectation sis you might get disappointed in the end" then continued eating. I took a glance at my mother seeing her weakly smiling.
"Bro even it's hard outside or not o-so fun. Don't worry too much about me, I'm a lot more then you really expected" I said smirking. My cousin only laughed at my answer and made my brother tighten his grip on his spoon.
We eventually finished our 'Brunch' smoothly and peaceful. I informed them that I'll be going back to my room again to do some things. I went up to my room and picked my bag and headed to our library for my Home Schooling classes. I entered the room seeing my cousin siting on his chair and on his left is his younger sister. I sat on his right side and got my things out my bag.
"Alice! Nice to see you here, I thought you'll be missing this one" Bryan said.
"No way in hell I'll be missing one of our classes, I need to still see your ass get kicked by me every class" I said playfully.
"Burn bro, good luck outside " Bryen said while scrolling on her phone.
"Hahaha.. thanks" I said in return.
Few minutes later our teacher came inside the library and started our first subject. I took a glance at my wrist watch to check the time, three: twenty-five pm. Why is this subject taking so long?! I want it to end as fast as it could BADLY!

"Okay, that's for Calculus and answer page 134 on your module" our teacher announced.
"Okay next is Science, what animal are you scared of?" Our teacher asked.
"Hmmm… Bears" Bryen said shyly.
"Sharks" Bryan said with a smirk.
"Nothing" they all turned on me because of my answer.
"How come Miss Alice? Might want to tell us" asked the Teacher.
"Sir how can I be afraid of something I did not encounter personally nor seen in person"
"Okay that does make sense, but perhaps give an animal for participation"
"Hawk" I said rolling my eyes.
" Okay, as you said the these animal represented by you has different habitats" he said " Terrestrial, Aquatic , Airial, Salt Water, Fresh Water, Dessert. Name it"
He continued explaining each habitats of animals and why. We continued like that for an hour until our teacher leaves because it's time. We packed our things to head to our music room, our coaches can be there now. As walking our way through the hall way we asked a maid to bring snacks for us and our coaches.
"Good afternoon coach" we walked in and sat on our own spots. Me? I always sit on a stool cause I play the piano and I also can play guitars and xylophones. I sat there memorizing each note to hit the piano and so on.
"ahhhh… I'm so tired" Bryan sighed massaging his neck.
"Me too I want to sleep "
We walked to our own room doing whatever we need to do. I ended up listing things that I would do or places where I want to go to and things to buy. I now have picked my school at St. Claire College and there is a hospital near it so I just needed to pack up my things and plan some things with Valn so we could catch up with each other. I may get first times there though.
And that's how my Wednesday day and night was...
