Erin

"Are you sure that Azura wouldn't get mad at us?" Erin asked as worried laced on her tone.

Amaris shook her head and hushed the woman. "He wouldn't get mad if he won't catch us."

Erin looked around. They were inside the temple of love located in the Touyan forest. Amaris, the goddess of the moon and stars, told her that they would go somewhere. She didn't know that they would attend an event that was intended for Immortals, unlike them.

"Look, Erin, they said that today marks the 1500th year celebration of Philo's fate-making event!" Amaris exclaimed as an enormous smile slowly rose up on her lips.

Erin gave a sullen look to the girl, "You know that I'm not interested in these kinds of events." The woman turned her back as she took a deep breath. "I will get going now,"

"No!" Amaris quickly went in the girl's direction. She pulled the woman and made a face. "You promised me you would accompany me today," the girl said in dismayed.

With nothing to do, Erin nodded and sighed heavily. For sure, Azura would once again scold her if the man found out that she went outside.

"Now, cover your face with this," Amaris showed Erin a white folding fan that was embroidered with flowers.

With furrowed brows, "Do I really need to cover my face with this?"

"Of course! Your portrait was known all over the land. Once they know who you are, then we will be doomed!" Amaris countered.

Erin shrugged her shoulders and took the fan out of the woman's hand. She forgot that their portraits were known all over the land. Especially hers since she was considered the only Female Main God.

She was the youngest out of the 4 of them. With the gift of Chaos, they considered her to be the most powerful living female in the entire land. Although the problem was, even after centuries, she still hasn't had any idea how to use her powers properly.

Erin and Amaris walked together as they entered the Temple of Love. They saw a lot of Immortals walking together. Some were walking with their loved ones, and some were walking with their group of friends.

Philo, the God of fate, was tasked to find the righteous partner for both Immortals and Gods. The man can know who's the most suitable person for them. He's the person whom God and Immortals run to when they're seeking love.

"Why are we even here, Amaris?" Erin asked.

Amaris's feet halted as she looked nervously at the woman. "N-Nothing…"

"Do you have someone in mind already?" Erin's eyes widened as she turned around to glance over her friend.

"Of course, none!" Amaris answered, starting to walk away from Erin, which the woman found suspicious.

They have been friends for over 900 years. The woman was older than her by decades, but that didn't affect the bond that they had together.

"Who is the lucky God, huh?" Erin grinned. She chased Amaris, who was now close to the Fate tree.

Red ribbons filled with names were tightly tied up in the tree's branches. It's like a matchmaking tree where the Gods and Immortals place the name of the person they want to be with.

"Are you going to ask God Philo for a ribbon, too? Just like how the other Gods ask one if they already have something in mind?" The girl continued to tease.

Amaris turned around and glared at her friend. "I told you to not tease me."

A hearty laugh came out of Erin's mouth as they went up to the temple. Erin was careful to cover her face as others might see her. Once the news spread, Azura will surely punish her again.

"Just wait for me here, Erin. I'll go alone and meet Philo."

Erin nodded as a response. She stood up to the side and watched over how the leaves, one by one, fell off from the tree. Her friend, Amaris, owns the Touyan forest. It was a gift to the woman in the past when she officially became a goddess.

It took Amaris quite some time before she could even meet Philo. Due to the busy schedule the man has, the woman was still thankful that he agreed on meeting up with her.

"Goddess Amaris, what brought you here to my Temple of Love?"

"I want to ask for a ribbon," Amaris inquired. She needs the ribbon for something she wants to do.

Philo nodded and opened his palms. A bright red-colored ribbon showed up seconds after. "It seems like you already have someone in mind, Goddess Amaris."

Amaris smiled, "Thank you for this."

The girl took the ribbon out of the man's hand and bowed her head down. Philo was older than both her and Erin. The man has a round face and a long gray tailback beard that you would notice at first glance.

Erin looked above and saw that Amaris was already on her way down. An idea crossed her mind after staying and thinking alone. She realized that she just learned a new spell.

"Dhi-Kia-Neye-Mehal" She swayed her hands as she uttered those words.

A cold air flashed through everyone. Erin's eyes widened when she saw how the cheerful faces of all the people turned angry.

"Erin what did you do?!" Amaris shouted when she saw the sudden change in the emotions of the people inside the temple. The couples who were standing together split apart. The group of friends who were walking as one parted ways.

A battle between woman and man arose that caused a big scene.

Erin looked at Amaris and shook her head, "Philo personally taught me this. How come the outcome became like this?"

Worried crossed her face as she looked back at what she did. The spell should be for everyone to be happy and for everyone to fall in love with their opposing gender, but instead, it became the exact opposite of it.

"Azura will get mad at us, Erin! Come quickly, we need to get back to the hall as soon as possible!"
