Get To Know The Characters!!

This is going to be a really short chapter because this is just all about getting to know the characters. I wanted you guys to understand why they act the way they do and make certain decisions that make no sense to you. I want you guys to get to know my characters like their real people and try tov understand why they have trust issues and are closed off.

Aspen

Aspen is quiet and likes to observe rather than put herself in the spotlight. She likes to keep to herself and enjoys being in the library reading books. This doesn't mean that she would allow herself to get bullied though. She knows how to stand up for herself and for others. Aspen has massive trust issues and thinks that everyone will abandon her just like her uncle did. On the outside she may seem confident but on the inside she doubts her self and her self-worth. Aspen still doesn't understand why her uncle could never love her or show any affection towards her and has to take care of herself.

After losing both her parents she really needs a role model in her life and with her uncle neglecting her she has to find out who she is and what her morals are on her own. Parents are supposed to guide you and help mold you into the person you want to become and without her parents Aspen doesn't know how to do that.

Damien

Damien is stone cold on the outside and seems to be the same way on the inside. He's never been given love from anyone except his childhood friends so he created a wall that no one can get through. When people look ontl his eyes they seem cold and lifeless unless he's talking to his friends. The only person that ever loved him was the nanny that took care of him that died when he turned sixteen. So now he lives with his father and his perfect family.

Something about Aspen makes him want to open up and tell her all his secrets. And he for the first time wants her to do the same. To him she seems so closed off almost more than him and can't understand why. Damien has stayed a virgin his entire life because he's never taken an interest in any girl before Aspen. All he does know is that he feels warm under her gaze and there's fireworks when they touch. That's enough for him. Sometimes he can be irrational and jump to conclusions without fully understanding the situation and lashes out on anyone in sight when he's mad.

Lucas

Lucas is rude and arrogant to anyone who isn't is friend. He comes from a rich family and gets whatever he wants when he wants. He knows no one can stop him because he's next in line for his father's company and everyone is afraid of him. He values his friendship with Damien and Ashton because they were there for him when he found his father cheating on his mother. He's ready to do anything for them at anytime. He likes to sleep around with girls but knows that when he finds the one that's it for him.

Ashton

Ashton is the calm observant one of the group who knows everything about almost everyone. He keeps Lucas in his place and stops Damien from going on a rampage. His father also owned a successful company but by sixteen Ashton took over because he was already ready to take his place. For Ashton knowing when someone is lying is easy and that helps him with business deals. Ashton doesn't believe in love and is completely fine with being single the rest of his life and is still a virgin at eighteen years old.
