Chapter Twenty-two – Naughty thoughts

Jeanette took a deep breath and then sat down at the vanity to work on her makeup. In this regard, she might have to be thankful for the few tips Sapphire had given her. She started working on her smoky eye, feeling that the color from the dress would help bring out her color even more. And once she was finished, she checked herself every which way and had to admit, it came out pretty good.

She grinned and turned around as the door to the bathroom opened and Jeanette ran her eye over the body that had walked out. The towel hung low around his hips and the water still traveled down his chest. Holy fuck, how many times had she written scenes like this? And now her eyes were feasting on all of this sexiness. Just how in the hell was it fair that he was that good looking?

Her eyes slowly looked their fill over his chest and her mind started playing with way too many wicked ideas. She felt the blush creep on her cheeks and she knew she should look away, but there was no force strong enough to move her gaze. Well, that was until he chuckled and her eyes flew to his, catching the smile on those lips.

      "Something on your mind, sexy?"

"Many things, but I can't say what."

"And why not?" He moved further into the room and her eyes kept track of his movement.

"Because many of those things are way too naughty." Her face flamed up even more as he quickly turned to look at her, those brown eyes even deeper and more intense. He smirked as he walked over to her and kneeled down before her, making sure the towel was covering everything. And truth be told, she wasn't sure if she was upset or not over that. Well, no, she was upset, she wouldn't lie.

"Way too naughty huh? I must admit, bella, I am very curious about what naughty things have to come to this sweet mind." His hand reached up and cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing over her cheek bone. "I am worried though, that once you start talking, I will want to do everything you are thinking of and we do not have the time for that." If it was possible, her face flamed up even more. "I do like this color of red on you; it is a look you must keep, bella."

"Ramon, stop," she said, laughing. She reached out and meant to shove his chest, but her hands did nothing but rest there and shortly thereafter, he smiled and placed his hand over hers.

"I like feeling your hands here, cara mia, and I have never told anyone that." He looked into her eyes and slowly stood up, his hands now holding hers. "And I would really love to stay just like this, Jeanette, but we do need to finish getting ready."

"Oh, right, of course. Let me do my hair." He nodded and walked away.

"You can have the bathroom to get ready if you need it."

"Thank you." She took a deep breath, grabbed her stuff and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

45 minutes later, her dress and heels on, her make up as perfect as she could make it and her hair styled and pulled off on one side, she opened the door and stepped out. Although, as her eyes landed on the man before her, she honestly thought she failed in looking half as sexy as he did. He turned to look at her and she took in the tight black slack that hugged those hips, the crisp white shirt that had the arms rolled up to the elbows and a black vest that was over it. Holy fucking shit, she had never seen anyone look as amazing and quickly her mouth went dry.

Now, how was she supposed to fight off every woman tonight? They were going to be clawing their way to get to him and she knew she stood no chance against any of them. She was sorely tempted to turn tail and run back into the bathroom, refusing to come out for the rest of the night. But she heard him clearing his throat again and she looked up at him, seeing those eyes darken with desire.

"Mio Dio (my God), Jeanette, you look absolutely breath taking. God damn, no, you look sexy as sin." She ducked her head as she felt his gaze rake over her. "No one compares to you." He walked over to her and lifted her chin, making sure she was looking into his eyes.

"You don't have to say that, I know…"

"No," he said, quickly cutting her off, his head slowly shaking. "No, you do not get to say that tonight. You did not over do it when you could have. And everything you did do only enhances your amazing and simply beautiful features already." His knuckles brushed over her cheek before he moved them down the exposed side of her neck.

She cleared her throat, trying her upmost best to ease the pounding in her heart and for the first time, she smiled at him and took the compliment, knowing she couldn't fight it, no this time; he wouldn't let her.

"Thank you Ramon. And you look totally mouth watering." She slowly lifted a brow and her lips lifted into a smirk. "How am I to keep my hands off of you?"

"Maybe, cara mia, you are not. And maybe I would not mind if your hands were running all over me tonight." They shared a laugh as he slipped his arm around her waist and led her out of the room.

"So, Palo is treating us to dinner and to a night on the town. The night life in Athens is a sight to behold. You may find that a few Greeks may just party as if they are God's themselves." Jeanette just lifted a brow at that. She had seen a trace of the city, a very small speck and she could agree with him. How much more would they be at night?

"Is the restaurant attached to the club?"

"Yes, but it is more like a bistro than an actual restaurant. The location is more high end and upscale, but much more enjoyable." Jeanette shook her head, she would have guessed as much with this man. Even Palo didn't seem the type not to go upscale. With a sigh to herself, Jeanette walked into the bistro part of the club with Ramon, his hand placed firmly on the small of her back. She had to smile, for that sign of possession was something that she wasn't used to and highly doubted she would ever get tired of it.

However, as they walked further in and she started seeing the looks that he was getting, she questioned herself even more. Many ladies were trying not to be too obvious as they stared at the sexiest man here, but she wasn't a fool, she could see it in their eyes. And she had to wonder if she could even hold a candle to these ladies? If she showed that Ramon was hers would they buy it and back off? So, without thinking, she smiled at him and slipped her own arm around him, something she had yet to do.

Ramon wasn't hers exactly, but for the first time, she wanted to fight to keep something. And whatever anyone else thought, she was determined to let everyone know that this gorgeous man was spoken for. And her bold move got her a sexy smile from the man, and that made her face flame up again.

He moved closer to her ear, his breath warm as he spoke into it. "I like this side of you; you need to do it more." Jeanette bit her lip and Ramon smirked, pulling her even closer to him, if that was possible. And to everyone else, it did look like two couples in a lovers embrace.

"I just might." He laughed and walked her further into the area, stopping at Palo's table. He quickly stood up as he looked over her.

"Damn, Jeannette, you look like a Goddess tonight. Ase ton ramone kai fyge mazi mia (leave Ramon and run away with me)." Jeanette just lifted a brow, smiling as Ramon grunted.

      "Ignore him, cara mia."

"Easy when I don't know what he said."

      "Nothing of importance."

"You wound me Ramon. My, Jeanette, you rival Sapphire's beauty, and she is always looking stunning when she is with Ramon." Her smile dropped at those words. Even Palo knew Sapphire. Her she was, forgetting about that woman and yet again here was a comparison and she knew Palo was lying; Jeanette never looked as good as Sapphire.
