Eating With Thiason

The food in the table consist Fried Chicken, Apple Pie and Salad which makes Kanisha's mouth water. It's been years since she ate something like this and the aroma of the food is so good.

A home cooked food is better than anything else.

"Let's eat." Mae said and grab a piece of chicken.

Kanisha watch them as they take food and eat. She waited until all of them take a bite. Mae notice that Kanisha isn't taking any food to her plate.

"Sha, don't you like the food? I apologize, this is only what we can offer for you. I'll cook better food tomorrow." Mae said, concern is lase on her face.

"No, no Ma-ma'am don't apologize. This food looks delicious, I haven't had this for years." Kanisha smiled and pick up a piece of chicken. "Thank you for sharing your food with me." Kanisha added.

"Don't be silly. You're part of the family now and you can call me mom from now on and dad also for Hudson." Mae said with excitement. "So you must eat more to regain your strength." Mae added.

Kanisha nod and grab a piece of apple pie and happily ate it. Savoring each bite to the fullest.

Mae noticed Kanisha's finger nails are black, she thought it's a nail polish but how can a girl imprisoned for 2 years have nail polish on their nails. She stare intently at it and the more she stare the more it looks real. She was about to ask about it but Hudson grab her hand and squeeze it, motioning her not to ask questions.

Hudson could feel that there are something strange about Kanisha besides the fact that she's a Lamia. Something that he can't explain.

"So darling, Sha. Axel linked us that a man named Nathan Wood claimed you as his mate his words." Hudson said looking over to Kanisha who's busy eating her pie.

"Yes." Kanisha answered.

"Hmm that Nathan didn't mark you and claim you as his. Sorry to say this Sha, you're imprisoned for 2 years, as a mate, he should have send a search party to find you but we heard no news about his missing mate." Hudson said as he's looking at an uncomfortable Kanisha.

"Maybe he's b-busy." Kanisha said trying to hold her anger and sadness at the same time. Hudson said is true, even if Nathan played with Lily, in the end she is his mate.

"No, having a mate means she's your other half. If your mate dies, you will soon die due to the broken bond, it's driving you crazy!" Axel said in a high tone, showing his annoyance to Nathan.

"Axel! Calm down." Mae said patting Axel's back which makes Axel calm down a bit.

"But the thing is.... " Hudson trail off. "We heard other news about Nathan Wood. I don't want to tell this to you as you're just recovering ---." Kanisha cut him off.

"It's okay sir Hudson, I mean dad. I would like to know." Kanisha said with curiosity. She has an idea in her mind but doesn't want it to be true.

Hudson, Mae and Axel exchange looks, debating whether to tell Kanisha or not.

"There's a news that Nathan Wood is marrying soon after his first child will be born." Hudson said slowly so that Kanisha will understand each word he said.

The revelation made Kanisha shocked, she drop her pie and a single tear fell on her cheeks but instead of sadness or pain showing on her face. They were shocked to see the burning anger on Kanisha's eyes. Her eyes exchanging from green to red. That moment they felt fear as in front of them is a Lamia, the most dangerous race of all.

"Haha I see so this is how the fate works huh." Kanisha said with smirk on her face as she wipe the tear that fell. "When will he be marrying dad?" She ask.

"Hmm a female werewolves pregnancy only last until 6 months unlike humans which is 9 months. Nathan Wood will be marrying after his son or daughter be born 6 months from now." Hudson explained.

Kanisha didn't say anything, she's been thinking of taking a revenge but how could she do it if her Snake is not even responding to her.

She sigh and continued eating her pie. The people in front of her is still waiting for her reply. She nearly choke when she see's them eyeing her like a hawk. Mae grab a glass and pour some water and give it to Kanisha. She drink it fast and said "I c-can't do anything, D-datu..... *sigh* he did a great j-job b-breaking me and my s-snake."

Axel clinch his fist, he can't believe that he let Datu break his mate for years and now he can't stand up seeing his mate being played by another st*pid male pup and she can't do anything about it, letting Nathan do what he likes.

"I'll seek revenge for you!" Axel said slamming his first on the table.

"No don't Axel!" Kanisha said stopping Axel from doing something st*pid. They're rogues who's struggling to survive. She doesn't want them to be hurt because of her.

By hearing Kanisha says Axel's name. He calm down and his wolf from their plan. The bond is working on them.

"Yes, Sha is right. Don't do what's on your mind Axel. We must strengthen our forces first if we want to win this battle." Hudson said while glaring at his son. "Don't let your emotions get you."

Kanisha furrowed her eyebrows as to what battle they're talking about.

"And also son tell the details about it to Kanisha. She must be curious about it now." Mae added while laughed a little.

"Now, let's finish eating, we have a lot of work to do." Hudson said as he grab another chicken.

Everyone continued eating the rest of the food.
