Kingston High-Lee’s Meeting

A week had passed since Lee first arrived. His day-to-day activities were as such: Go to his classes, eat, and talk with Jacob. Today was no different, though lunch was more eventful than usual.

A student walked up to Lee. He didn't say anything, just stared into Lee's eyes. After about twenty seconds of nothing but pure silence, among not just them but the whole cafeteria, he turned back and left.

Lee: Yo Jacob, who was that?

Jacob: That's Davis Jin. He's twenty-first in the Fray Rankings.

Davis Jin, about five-eleven. Brown skin, muscular, and quiet. Those are his most defining features. His quiet demeanor has even gained him the title: "Silent Night".

Jacob: Normally he sticks to himself. Is he challenging you?

Lee: Don't know. Seems friendly.

Jacob: Friendly?

Lee: Yeah, might be just a vibe.

Lee ran up to Davis and politely tapped on his shoulder

Lee: Hey, Davis, is it? I noticed you sitting here by yourself and was wondering if you wanted to eat together if that's cool with you?

Davis nodded his head.

Lee: Cool, I'm Lee by the way.

Davis, again, nodded his head.

Lee: Not much of a talker, are you? That's cool. I dig the whole silent and "deadly" vibe you got going on.

Davis glared daggers at Lee.

Lee: Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. Most people probably think you're deadly but I think you're just a big teddy bear.

Davis closed his eyes, stood up, and quietly left the cafeteria. Jacob ran over to Lee.

Jacob: What was all that about!? Do you have a death wish!?

Lee: Relax, relax, don't judge a book just by its cover. He may look like a monster, but he doesn't seem to like fighting.

Jacob: And how would you know that?

Lee: He doesn't have the spirit in him.

Jacob: What?

Lee; Nothing, let's go. Class is about to start.
