Help, finally!

In the first cave, Vic, Hiro, Kris, and Jay.

"Are you sure this is gonna work, Jay?" Vic asked nervously

"Yes! Definitely! Maybe!" Jay exclaimed

"Maybe?" Hiro scratched the back of his head, doubting

"Alright, I'll start firing, okay?" Vic asked

"Okay, hit me!"

About a minute after Dan and them left.

"How do we get out?" Vic asked the class

"Need fire power?" Hiro uttered a thought

"Explosions don't work." She replied

"Maybe we just need a bigger explosion." Hiro proposed

"Really, Hiro?" Kris face palmed

"What? It could work, no?" Hiro argued

"I guess." Vic shrugged her shoulders

"But, I can't make an explosion bigger than a grenade." Vic claimed

"Jay...?" Kris called

"Yeah, yeah I got it." He replied

"What?" Hiro asked

"He can absorb energy and output it." Kris replied

"Kinetic mostly. Heat too, but not that much."

"Alright then."

Vic started firing grenades at Jay as he absorbs every single explosion. A total of fifty-two grenades. Before Vic got tired.

"Okay, I think this is more than enough!" Jay said. He was holding back an explosion that would enough to destroy half a block

"Alright!" Kris replied

All three—Kris, Vic, and Hiro—curled up in a corner. Kris created three domes of ice around them with a distance of a meter away each. Jay then walks close to the wall and then punches it while releasing everything he had stored up.

He fills the entire room with flames and collapses at least 80 percent of the wall.

"It worked!" Jay said excitedly

Then they went outside and contacted the teachers and they arrived in after Dan finished fighting the maniacal beast.

In the final cave Dan and the others were in, Laura helped Sam and Volta. She sat the two next to each other, leaning to the wall. Dan sat next to Sam too.

Laura then had to figure a way out. Just before that, several surges of great mana appeared behind her. She slowly turned around and it was Shujin and his crew. Six sorcerers of High-rank grade 1 and above.

"You're strong. Maybe I'll fight you." Shujin said

Then the wall bursts from the other side. It was Kai dashing right through. Laura smiled in relief. He aimed toward Shujin, trying to kill him in one strike.

A female speedster on Shujin's team—Shift was her known identity—clashed with Kai. Cathy conjured four "Water Spears" and shot all four to the six. A man with a brown coat and a dark orange mask that was connected to his long sleeve shirt that were also connected to his fingerless gloves. He raised his hand and bursts out flames that stopped the water and turned it into vapor.

Shujin then joined Kai and Shift clashing and pushed Kai back.

"We'll be going now, I guess. Test complete."

Shujin then teleported his team out of the cave in an instant.

"Fuck!" Kai angrily yelled as he punches the ground

"Kai, they're hurt. We need to go back to the school."

Cathy then teleported them back to the school. Heath, Nate, and the others included. All of them were hospitilized. Thanks to Healing Crystals, they all pulled through. Some scaring maybe. But, other than that they were fine.

Standing atop the dormitory building was Kai. He grabbed his phone and dialed a number. After it rang once, it was picked up.

"Derrick?" Kai called

"What do you want?" Derrick asked in an annoyed manner

"School's hell back here. We need your help." Kai requested

"Why?" He asked

"Sorcerers of Supreme-rank and High-rank causing a ruckus. The first years are getting hurt." Kai replied

"Supreme-rank you say?" Derrick's interest piquing

"Yeah."

"Fine. But, I'll be back in a day or more. Don't want to miss the festival." Derrick said

"Fine, just hurry on over.'

"Do you want anything?"

"No."

"Okay, then. Bye."
