If Greg thought Marion would easily flinch, or perhaps submit to him, then he was sorely mistaken. What the man thought was the exact opposite of what was happening right now.
"What did you say? You can't be kidding!" he snapped when he heard what she whispered.
"I'm serious. You asked me, right? I told you the truth, why don't you believe me? If you think taking me hostage makes him weak, you're dead wrong, Greg! My William wouldn't care about that. His weakness is Ange. That woman is like a mother to William."
Although she said this with a confident look on her face and a hint of fear, in her heart Marion hoped that Ange would be able to handle this.
