Explosion and Bait

The golem was ordered by Ritsuka on standby, when the wyvern came closer and closer finally she ordered them to throw their projectile.

"The soldiers group up with 2 golem per team, let them hold the wyvern that dropped from the skies and immediately kill them, the leader of each squad relay their situation and adapt according situation."

Hearing Ritsuka command the officer in the army devide themselves and started to lead and follow the golem to action.

The soldiers use the golem as moving wall as ordered before, seeing their smooth battle their morale were boosted making them become more courageous.

Seeing this Ritsuka relay another order using magic to enhance her voice.

"Don't let your guard down, becareful of the enemies movement, those on the wall search for the enemies leader and the rest of their army."

Her warning came timely allowing the captian or leader of each squad to rein in their subordinate so they won't over extend their formation.

Their enemies also started to make their move, among the flock of wyvern theirs among them who have been equip with something around their neck, and different from other wyvern they swoop down and and crash themselves into the ground.

"Pull back men, be careful of traps."

"Let the golem check the condition."

"Pull the injured members and fall back to the city wall."

Shouts started coming from across the field, the captian of each squad started commanding their subordinate to pull back seeing this situation is not normal.

The one that crashed took down a few of the squad, seeing this some of the squad were pulling back to take a safe distance and letting their Golem to give the killing blow.

Suddenly an explosion occur from the wyvern body, the squad who reacted fast enough has now stayed near the city wall, some that were a litte bit late was caught up in the explosion resulting in casualties.

The explosion cause a huge amount of dirt and dust to fly around blocking the vision.

The smoke cleared up, showing the scene of golem body part being scattered and charred body parts.

The surviving soldiers realize the dangerous situation that they just escaped.

The casualties can be said minimal since only dozen of them was caught it the explosion.

"Gather up, and go inside the walls." Ritsuka shouted her order while he command the Golem to go outside and replace the soldiers.

"Senpai, why did you let the soldiers deal with the wyvern if you could just use the golem?" Mash said in a low voice

"Because I can let them move on their own, the golem needs to be ordered manually, the mental strain is very huge to order so many golems."

While the both of them are talking the soldiers have finished evacuating.

"Bring a bandage here."

"Where's the doctor?, my friend needs help."

Shouts started to sounded from the soldiers, some are asking for doctor and nurse, some asked for water and food, the first wave of enemies ended.

The explosion came as a surprise since a moment ago they are safe but the next they almost died and some of them become injured

Suddenly one of the soldiers who is holding a telescope shout.

"Skeletons army is coming, everyone hurry up and prepare yourself."

"Those who are not injured gather up and report to your officer, the nurse and doctor take care of the wounded."

'Georgios please lead the soldiers to deal with the undead, I will order the Golem to open up a hole in the formation and let them trickle the skeletons.' Ritsuka said towards georgios using telepathy.

'ok, I will take care of that.' He replied

"Siegfried it's your turn, the wyvern is coming back, the golem will force them to fall and you deal with the finishing blow."

"Understood Master."

"Senpai waht about us."

"We will stay here for now, we need to keep have a vintage point, the servant on their side hasn't appeared yet."

"When they appear their goal is probably Siegfried and me." Hearing Ritsuka Mash then asked. "Why are you the target Senpai."

"Because of Alex, they probably know about the contract with Alex Berserker Vessel, as for Siegfried he is the greatest threat to Fafnir."

"Then what about Georgios-san."

"For now they don't know his Noble Phantasm is more troublesome than Siegfried towards the dragon-kin, since he hid himself until now."

"Then wouldn't it be dangerous for him."

"That why I asked Siegfried to go to the outside of the wall to attract attention."

"Senpai your face look like Sensei when he is about to do something Bad."

Hearing Mash words she started to denied her words.
