Strong Enough

Star stretches his back and speaks at Bazett;

"Looks like your nosiness knows no bounds, huh, master?" He chuckles to himself and continues; "I don't blame you though, no matter how ridiculously persistent you are,-"

Bazett speaks and interrupts Star briefly, while smirking a little;

"Ironic coming from you."

Star, clears his throat and speaks again;

"Aaaanyways... Well, let me spell it out for you: I am simply powerful. Does that answer your question?"

Bazett's eye flinches a bit at his audacity, and she speaks in an semi-angry tone while trying to keep her cool;

"A powerful one doesn't need to hide it-" She stops talking for a moment after taking a deep breath she continues; "But. You know what? It actually does. Either you show me or not once we get into a fight, I'll see it for myself eventually. And that will have 2 possible outcomes for you. Either you will help us win, and get to live another day as a servant. Or you will lose and I will just abandon you for you to die. Which now I think about, I wouldn't really mind doing so, considering your attitude towards me. You fine with that?"

Star replies back immediately with an amused tone;

"Absolutely."

And so after the master's and servant's unusual and heated first meeting, they head out to the city taking a stroll, to observe if there is anything out of the ordinary happening, to investigate basically. And the first thing that they notice is the streets are completely empty, as if this is an abandoned city, no one there is to be seen. They both roam around the city for hours until it nearly hits midnight. Throughout the entire walk Bazett nor Star talked even once, neither did it seem like they wanted to talk anyways. Until Star finally breaks the silence;

"You know I am actually quite surprised that you still don't look tired. At all actually."

"What? Do 'you' feel tired from just walking?"

Bazett says, while looking at Star;

"Not from walking... But from you."

"That's great we have something in common then."

Star giggles softly and speaks;

"You know I sort of start to understand why the Grail has chosen u-"

[A really loud sound echoes, coming from nearby]

Star looks at where the sound possibly could have came from and speaks;

"Just what was tha-"

"Shh! It's coming..."

Bazett tries to pinpoint where the sound actually came from, to be ready. As Star just looks at Bazett entering her fight stance. Bazett knew what this sound was, and what was causing it... The same loud sound came again, and again, and yet again... Bazett was sure that this was the footsteps of that giant golem she fought just last night. But this time the same loud sounds were coming from two different locations at once coming closer at Star and Bazett. Bazett speaks in a quiet tone;

"Shit... there are two of them..."

Which Star hears, and takes a few steps back in order to have a better look at their surroundings

And as the loud sounds continue to echo, they finally make their appearance. It is just like Bazett thought; they are both the same huge golems, literally identical to one another. As they slowly get closer, Bazett looks back at Star expecting him to do something as he is her servant after all. And since she already knows her attacks alone won't be useful at all, while Star just stares at these huge creatures. Star quickly notices that he is being stared at by Bazett;

"Ohh... right. Heh... Apologies."

Star gets in front of Bazett and raises his hand up in the sky, and in a flash an electric guitar materializes in his hand. The guitar's head had a shape of an dragon's head, and was blue as the sky. Bazett stares at the newly formed electric guitar in Star's hands with a mix of curiosity and skepticism, pondering what something as seemingly ordinary as a guitar can possibly do. Star holds the guitar from the neck to the body as if he is about to play it, as the big golems slowly start to come closer searching for their meal;

"Watch close master."

His tone was cocky and amused as usual, he aimed the tip of the instrument at one of the creatures then he harshly played a single chord from the guitar with full force which launched an massive single line of fire. It went directly at one of the golems piercing it from it's chest and going out from the other side, it was an really quick attack that not only pierced through the golem but made it burn from inside too. The golem which Star attacked threw out a cry of pain as it's body slowly started to disintegrate with just a single attack made by him. Then he heard his master's voice from his back;

"Gah! *Cough* *Cough*"

Star looked behind him and saw Bazett coughing up blood as she was on her knees.

"Hey... Hey! What's wrong?"

Bazett tries to catch her breath;

""I... I don't know... I just..."

It seemed like Star's attack affected his master, causing her to spit blood. This was probably because the attack Star performed used his master's mana reserves in an extreme amount, making her body go into a state of shock and thus causing Bazett to cough up blood. An attack, strong enough to one-shot one of those golems, which Bazett hardly could harm during her last encounter with one of them, had an expensive cost. Star caught up on this, and sighed then looked at the second golem coming close and looked back at his master while silently murmuring;

" 'If you lose I will abandon you to die' yada yada yada..."

Star's guitar dematerializes and he kneels down near his master;

"Please tell me you are able to walk."

"Of co- course I can..."

Star sees Bazett helplessly try to get up and just shakes his head. Then he picks Bazett up as the golem closes in and he starts running away trying to remember the way where their house was while speaking to Bazett;

"You awake still? Just so you know, that what happened just now will be a great mocking material for me."

He said while panting as he ran. Bazett's eyes were already closed, and it looked like she was deep asleep. Since the golem's movement was too slow Star was able to get away with ease. And after a while Star finally makes it back to their base, gets inside and lays Bazett on the sofa in the living room. Bazett narrowly opens her eyes only for her to see the bright LED lights on Star's mask. She faintly hears Star's voice and his panting before closing her eyes again and going back to sleep;

"Pain in the ass... This is going to be way more difficult than I thought... Fine, sleep... We'll figure it out later..."
