For those who are reading my other story, please allow me some time to rest. I've been wondering whether to speed up the plot because I was getting tired, but I've finally decided that I won't and just take a break with a non-serious fic like this one I'm starting now.

Chapter 1: Prologue

"Abraham" Lord El-Melloi II's gravelly voice echoed through the class, drawing the attention of a young man who had been staring at the ceiling. "I recommend you listen if you want to learn something."

The boy was a teenager, although he was most likely in his early twenties, he had slightly aristocratic features, even if he wasn't overly handsome. His hair was strange, incredibly dark but with a small amount of white hair mixed in, which combined with his cerulean blue eyes that seemed to be made up of several layers, made him look out of place in a classroom.

The other students laughed, they were already used to the teacher scolding this particular student.

"Sorry, Professor, it won't happen again." The student in question humbly apologized.

Lord El-Melloi II nodded satisfied and was about to continue with the lecture when he realized that the student had returned to the same position.

His eyebrow twitched.

"Julius Abraham, come to my Department when you finish classes." At this point, his voice sounded like a death threat and made the student, Julius, break out in a cold sweat.

"Yes sir." This time, he sat up instantly.

The students laughed at the interaction.

Later that day, Julius Abraham knocked on the door of the Department of Modern Magecraft Theory, he had a much more serious look than before in the class.

"Come in."

He entered the room, the dean was sitting on a small sofa.

"You're finally here." He smiled and gestured to the other couch across from him for Julius to sit on. "You said there was something important to talk about, I hope it's worth putting up that little act earlier."

Julius chuckled.

"Professor, you know perfectly well that I do not speak lightly." As he spoke, he raised his left hand, on which he was wearing a glove, and took off the said glove.

"This is...!" Waver Velvet got up from the sofa in shock.

"Command Seals." Julius confirmed with a mischievous smile that contrasted with his general appearance. "It seems that I have been chosen as one of the masters for the upcoming war in Fuyuki."

The dean of the Department fell back onto the sofa covering his face in exhaustion.

"I knew this would happen one day, I had no doubt, knowing you, but to think that it's really happening makes me somewhat more tired than usual." He looked at his student, although in reality, their relationship had been more of friends for some time. "I know what you're capable of, but you shouldn't underestimate this, Julius. You know that, right?"

"Huh?" Tears began to fall from the young man's eyes. "Do you care so much about me? To think that the famous Lord El-Melloi II, a veteran of the Holy Grail War, would care about a poor thug like me."

The professor hit the table with a fist.

"As if! Also, stop using your weird magecraft to create tears, it's disgusting!" he exclaimed, eliciting a laugh from the student.

"Magecraft is made for things like this, you're too nearsighted, Professor." Julius scoffed. "Don't worry though, I know exactly what I'm getting myself into, Waver. I may be lighthearted, but I don't play with my life lightly."

The Lord let out a breath.

"I know. Few people are more prepared for a war than you, considering that strange magecraft you created." He commented.

Julius nodded seriously.

'Created my ass.' He thought.

It had already been 19 years since he reincarnated in this world. He had been an ordinary person who liked to read, imagine his surprise when he suddenly woke up in the body of a newborn. The first thing he saw in this new life was a blue screen.

The screen said in very clear white letters two things. The first was *Sequence 9: Apprentice* and the second was *Potion Digestion Percentage*. It didn't take him more than five seconds to understand what was happening, and from then on everything was a roller coaster of emotions.

First of all, he was ecstatic at the possibility of being a Beyonder. After that, he remembered everything about the Outer Gods and was about to die from the sheer terror of… well, dying, or worse than that. Finally came the realization that nothing had happened and that there were no monsters on the Moon that would corrupt him for the simple reason of having a thought towards them, a priori.

He got a little confused, but he understood that this was not the world of Lord of the Mysteries, which in a way made it even better! It was only after many embarrassing moments as a baby that he realized that he was in the world of Type-Moon, a screwed-up world, but not as much as the previous possibility.

Luckily his family was only third-generation as magus, which allowed him to have access to the Clock Tower, and not be treated as a simple guinea pig by his parents, at the same time. Yay!

However, over the years he learned how the system worked. It was extremely simple, he had to use the Acting Method of each sequence to fill the bar that indicated the digestion of the potion. Once the bar was filled, he could ascend to the next Sequence instantly.

He didn't need to brew the potions, and he didn't suffer any corruption either, which would be extremely convenient except that the bar filled up extremely slowly. He had been using the system for as long as he had consciousness, and yet he had only managed to reach Sequence 6: Scribe.

Actually, this level of Sequence already placed him above the vast majority of mages in the Clock Tower, although he had only shown his powers to his family and Waver, with whom he had become good friends. Still, he had also done some additional samples to lay the foundation so that when he needed to show it he could say it was his own creation.

Anyway, he was considered a major genius in many fields of thaumaturgy, which would also help make the lie credible.

"Have you prepared the catalyst?" Waver asked.

"I don't have it yet, but I know where I can find it, don't worry." Julius calmly got up from the sofa and walked towards the exit. "Keep an eye on the news my friend, I assure you this war will be something the world will remember for a long time.
