My heart lifted by a sliver when I saw Angel, in human form, standing over Chloe, the Chief Healer by her side. My eyes searched the area for any sight of Sapphire, but there was none. Tears slid down my face as I hit the ground, the impact startling the Chief Healer, her eyes pitiful as she saw the look on my face.

/"Come on Chloe, push!/"

Chloe screamed as she tried, her fingers gripping on to Angel's forearm causing her to wince as her skin tore slightly. She took a small breather, eyes darting left and right to search for, I presume, Jared who was still on his way. Her eyes stopped as they locked on to me.

/"Xander!/"

Despite my worry for Sapphire, I instinctively moved to her side, to tell her that Jared was on his way, and reached my hand out to her only for it to be knocked aside.

/"She took Sapphire! She killed Karmen and took SapphireAh!/"
