Origin Essence Realm

Wang Jie sat down panting heavily surrounded by small craters and trees that had fallen on the ground. In front of him were mountains several hundred feet from the Golden Purification Tree and Eternal Spring Pond where a massive hole had been placed in the aftermath of Wang Jie's prowess.

He was covered in sweat and with minor injuries from the backlash of overexerting himself. Wang Jie exhaled deeply causing the golden ring behind to vanish and his essence settled down.

'If I use Devastating Fist from my family then I'm certain it'll produce even more force.' Wang Jie couldn't display his family martial art since it might draw too much attention. He sat down and began to recite his cultivation method allowing him to advance further even if it was small.

'It seemed even how much Qi I absorbed I won't break through without the missing essence I need.'

He calmly accepted his current limitation and gladly waited patiently for the opportunity to advance in the future. Wang Jie spent exactly twenty hours inside and went back to the Eternal spring pond to heal his injuries.

"Haha…even though it doesn't increase my cultivation anymore it still nourishes quite a bit." He leaned back on the edge of the after and began to contemplate.

'Maybe I could create my technique by mixing my own previous life knowledge?'

Wang Jie recalled that creating a technique was rather difficult and dangerous since utilizing their Qi Deviation if they are not careful and capable.

This is the reason only higher realms like someone at the Origin Essence would dare create a technique because they already grasped Heaven and Earth Essence allowing them to avoid Qi Deviation a lot more.

Once Wang Jie finished resting, got dressed and headed outside where he caught his woman dressing themselves. They noticed his change where his chaotic energy had settled down that it wasn't leaking any Essence that made him appear like mortal.

He wasn't even using Faceless Mask technique to hide it and simply an effect of his body cultivation.

"Good morning, you two." He walked over giving them a morning kiss that they enjoyed smiling at the process.

Both said at the same time before finishing clothing themselves to prepare breakfast. Zhang Mei and Liu Ying helped each other prepare a simple breakfast consisting of bread, eggs and milk that the White Lotus villager gave them as a gift. Wang Jie went to feed the livestock that was provided by the villagers.

'Yi'er, what do you think would happen if I took this livestock in Myriad Sacred Realm? Would they become a monster and be aggressive'

Wang Jie rubbed his chin looking at the pair of cows and chicken. He wondered if they would become Monster due to the density and nourishment of the place.

[ 'It's possible they will turn into monsters but chances of them being aggressive is small.' ]

With that, he considered placing them inside his Myriad Sacred Realm letting them grow. When it was all done went to his two wives who set up the tables. They sat down and began eating.

"Right, today we will head to Yan Fei to work." Zhang Mei said.

"I'm excited! I had fun talking with Yan Fei." Liu Ying said getting along with Yan Fei since she was as carefree as the wind.

"Still makes me wonder why you still took the job?"

Zhang Mei asked since he already made a business deal with Fu Dao that would certainly be a hit but still wanted to work for them.

"Perhaps…you're aiming to court the mother and daughter pair?" She easily concluded but Wang Jie shook his head.

"That's not it. I just thought that they might need our help, that's all. At first I was planning on keeping a low profile but that was simply impossible." Wang Jie said seeing how he already exposed himself and wouldn't be able to hide forever about his strength.

"Not to mention, the place has great food that would be wasted and ruined by someone." He said giving his honest answer and the other agreed with his sentiment.

"If you say so. Still I am curious what you intended to do now that you've recovered. Do you intend to return?" Zhang Mei asked because seeing the speed of his recovery would certainly make the Chen family accept him.

"No, there's too many rats in the Chen family and the royal family wouldn't want me back. It's likely that my mother and step mother along with my father are currently handling things. If I return things would become more complicated."

Wang Jie said having noticed some conspiracy happening behind the scene that he needs to investigate once he grows stronger.

His uncle, aunt's and cousins who dislike my father being the patriarch and want him gone. It is always their thirst for more that makes them blind at the situation. They forget that most of them are recovering from the Great Devastation Era.

"I know you're listening, Uncle Ming." Wang Jie said looking in a certain direction when someone stepped forward and what came out was elderly man with an extremely thin presence that it was almost impossible to notice.

"Greetings, young master, young lady." He bowed showing his respect.

Elder Ming was a hidden guard that Wang Jie's father gave to him and he was like an uncle to him in how he spent time with him. He was at peak Late Origin Essence Realm. He wasn't related to Wang Jie and simply called him Uncle because of how close they were.

As for having a peak Late stage Origin Essence as bodyguard, it was an overkill considering it was unlikely a True Essence Realm would be sent to kill Wang Jie. Trying to commission someone with that level of strength requires a lot of resources.

"Congratulations on regaining your ability to cultivate and certainly a lot stronger than before." Elder Ming said that Wang Jie was incomparable when he reached the same realm when he was a child. It was a lot more dense and had higher quality.

"I see, I'm certain you're aware of what's been happening." Wang Jie knew that he was present when he disappeared and explained things to his wives.

"Yes, but worry not, I won't meddle in your affairs nor would I report to your father unless you have permission." Elder Ming understood that the information that he obtained would bring calamity when news about Wang Jie researched the ears of those in the capital.

"Before I forget, congratulations on your wedding and children."

He gave a heartfelt smile having seen them grow up together and see Zhang Mei and Liu Ying as his little niece. Elder Ming even trained them how to fight.

"Thank you, Uncle Ming." Both women smiled hearing his words and rubbed their stomachs.

"Uncle Ming, I don't mind you telling father about my marriage and situation but tell him that I'll personally explain everything once the situation settles down." If Uncle Ming rushes then it won't take him a day or two to arrive back at the capital to report.

"I see, you already plan all of this in order to let them lower their guard."

Ming said since Wang Jie had been exposing dirt and rats hiding in the capital that he became a thorn that needed to be removed.

Though, killing him was impossible since antagonizing the Chen family would be far too stupid. They needed a way that didn't reveal that everything had been planned.

It is also likely that they want to stir a civil War between the Chen family and the royal family to kill two birds with one stone.

Wang Jie knew all of this because he was careful and acted in ways that made him believe what he showed is the full scope of his capabilities.

"Before I answer that, why don't you take a seat and have breakfast with us?" Wang Jie said and Elder Ming reluctantly accepted taking a seat with them.

"Here Uncle Ming! Have you been eating well since you followed us?" Liu Ying placed a plate and food for Elder Ming who chuckled.

"Ah, yes, I've been staying at a nearby hut nearby." Elder Ming said.

"That's good to hear. We won't want you guarding us all the time without rest." Zhang Mei said.

"Hahaha I don't mind. Especially the fact you two are carrying a child means I have to be alert in any potential danger." Elder Ming said while taking a bite of the food.

"Thank you for your hard work, Uncle Ming. Anyways, as for your question. " Wang Jie looked at Elder Ming.

"Yes, I plan it all but I didn't expect to restore my dantian and meridian. Not to mention stronger than before."

Wang Jie made plans on how to deal with his enemies even without restoring his ability to cultivate but now that he did change everything.
