015. New Family New Dynamic.

Day turned into night and the dark sky was now filled with starlight.

Inside a simple house in a mountainous area, 4 people are sitting at the dining table and preparing for dinner.

The dinner this time was chicken

fried chicken with chili sauce and eggplant with coconut milk.

"How do you get electricity?" asked Reizel.

"I installed solar panels on the roof and made some changes and now we can use electricity as usual," replied Aril who spooned the warm rice onto his plate.

"Are you an electrician?"

"Almost right, I'm a student and my major is electronical engineering."

Reizel couldn't stop marveling as he hadn't seen the light of a lamp since the chaos at the beginning of 2025.

Aril dipped his right hand into a small bowl of clean water to wash his hand.

"Just because I let you eat here, doesn't mean I fully trust you," said Aril who didn't even look at Reizel.

Ignoir held the chicken meat with both hands while smiling widely. "That's right! If you mess up, I'll eat your head! Muahahaha!"

Ignoir ate very messily. Her clothes were dirty and her entire mouth and cheeks were covered in sauce.

The wolf girl savored her food like a 4-year-old child who didn't know proper table manners.

Reizel sighed. "I didn't expect you to trust me that quickly either."

The two men ate and just focused on the dishes in front of them. There was only silence afterwards and it made Putri a little uncomfortable.

"By the way, who bathed me and changed my clothes?" asked Aril who was looking at Putri.

Putri's face immediately turned red and shook her head quickly. "It... It wasn't... Not me!"

Aril looked at Ignoir who was eating so messily.

Ignoir stared back at Aril. "I wanted to rub master's back too! But Miss Putri forbade me."

"Of...of course... I forbid it! Said Putri who refocused on her food.

Aril looked at Reizel who was eating.

"Of course they can't. They're girls," Reizel said casually.

Aril was a little surprised but he finally accepted the fact that he was being helped by someone he didn't fully trust.

Although only a little... Just a little...

Aril began to trust Reizel slowly.

"Thank you," said Aril who didn't even look at Reizel.

"You're welcome," replied Reizel who also didn't look at Aril.

Putri, who could not stand the awkward atmosphere, immediately spoke up.

"How about we discuss something else?" asked Putri who laughed awkwardly.

"I don't mind," said Reizel in a flat tone.

"Go ahead," said Aril in a flat tone.

"Ignoir... Can you explain why you changed from a wolf to a human?" asked Putri who was staring at the wolf girl who was eating messily.

Aril and Reizel's attention suddenly focused on the wolf girl.

"Ah... That's right, I haven't explained about that," said Ignoir.

Putri wiped Ignoir's sauce-covered mouth and cheeks. "Eat slowly. Don't rush."

"Because I was given a name! For us, names are a very spiritual thing and most demons don't have names," Ignoir said.

"Interesting concept," Aril replied.

"By giving us names, we can unlock our potential and become stronger. But of course giving a demon a name can suck up a lot of energy," Ignoir continued.

"So, that's the reason why big brother Aril fainted after giving you a name?" asked Putri

Putri.

"Yes! Master Aril gave me a lot of energy!" said the delighted Ignoir.

"That doesn't explain why you have a human-like appearance," said Aril.

Ignoir's eyes began to glaze over and looked like she wanted to cry as she looked at Aril. "I want to be useful to master Aril, is that not okay?"

That gaze...

The pleading gaze of a girl. Aril didn't like that because he knew he would feel sorry for the wolf girl.

Aril sighed. "Fine, you can look like that. Just remember one thing."

"What's that, Master Aril?" said Ignoir, who looked very excited.

"Make sure to always wear covered clothing," replied Aril who continued eating.

"Yes, sir!"

---------------------------------------------

Dinner was over and everything was being cleaned up.

Ignoir was in the living room and was drawing in a drawing book using colorful crayons.

Reizel and Putri were in the kitchen, washing dishes and other cooking utensils.

"You don't have to help me," said Putri who was washing the dishes.

"It's okay. I just want to help," replied Reizel who was also washing the dishes.

Aril entered the kitchen and immediately walked towards the bathroom while carrying a towel.

"Big brother Aril! Don't take a bath at night!" said Putri.

"Take it easy, I'll heat up the water," replied Aril while showing the Marchosias sigil on the back of his right hand.

Aril entered the bathroom while Putri sighed heavily.

"He used demonic power just so he can take a warm bath?" asked Reizel who couldn't believe what he had just seen.

Incredible power of combustion and destruction...

Used to heat water.

"Let it go," said Putri who was used to Aril's behavior.

Always having a plan for everything and always able to use the things around him for personal gain.

If it can be used, why not?

Given Aril's strange mindset, Putri could only sigh and continue to wash the dishes.

"By the way, why did you choose to side with us?" asked Putri who opened a new conversation.

"Didn't I tell you that I owe you my life?" replied Reizel with a new question.

"But don't you also owe that bald guy a life?"

"Indeed... And I should have sacrificed my life for him." Reizel stopped moving his hands that were washing the glass.

"But technically I've died twice today," continued Reizel who resumed his hand movements to wash the glass.

"Is that so? So, now, are you on our side?" asked Putri.

"Something like that."

"Then, welcome to the family."

"Why did you accept me so easily?"

Putri smiled at Reizel. "Because I believe in you."

Reizel immediately blushed and he averted his eyes as quickly as possible. "You shouldn't trust strangers that easily."

Putri chuckled. "But my intuition is always right. So, I have no doubts."
