Chapter 33: Skeletons

"Nah and besides I already know. I heard you in the bathroom talking to your bff." Lianne said shrugging her shoulders with an 'I don't care' kind of vibe. "That makes my job a lot easier. Anyways, do you know why I did it?" Jade asked with a Mocking gaze."Am I supposed to? You were the one who was plotting endlessly for this news to hit the 'hot search', not me. So how am I supposed to know why you did it" Lianne said feigning ignorance. She knew exactly why she did it but she had planned to frustrate her today and she was enjoying every bit of it."Well yesterday, my plan didn't go as planned so I had to look for another way. You know, to the outside world you're a perfect person but who'll have known that you had this little secret inside..." jade explained and Lianne decided to help her finish her sentence by saying "... and that is why people like you had to dig in some more forgetting the fact that they also have skeletons in their cupboard" Lianne said with a smirk making jade's face turn pale.Lianne leaned in to whisper something to her ear and Jordy used his super senses to hear what they were saying. "I don't think you'll like all your fans to hear about what happened 8 years ago. You may not remember but I do. I have a photogenic memory remember." Lianne said before stepping back to see jade's face which had turned white as a ghost and her veins popping. "I'll have escorted you to the door but it isn't that far so I'll suggest you see yourself out" Lianne said with an evil smirk. Jade left the room angry while Lianne went to where the guys where seated watching her and sat down. "Weren't you angry a while ago" Alex asked. "Yeah I was but that was refreshing" Lianne said coolly. "What did you threaten her with?" Kai asked making Lianne giggle as she answered "something that'll make her think twice before thinking about messing with me again"-----------Later on, they had their match and of course, they won. When they got back to their base, Jordy found out one of his goldfish were missing so Lianne offered to follow him to buy a new one.They got to the pet store. It was one of the best pet stores because their pets were well taken care of. The pet store was painted white. They went in and saw different pets ranging from cats to dogs to bunnies to fishes. They moved to the fish section and it took a while to find a goldfish. As they going to the counter to pay for it, Lianne's eyes fell on a cute chow chow. It was a puppy with white fur and big beady brown eyes.She was so carried away that her arm which was hooked around Jordy's fell and landed into his palms making them hold hands. When she came out of her reverie, she realized what happened and quickly retracted her hand from his as though shocked by electricity. It was years since she held hands with anyone. She returned her gaze to the puppy when it rubbed it's fur against her arms as if asking her to buy it.Before she could respond, a girl who came with a guy wearing a mask, hood, sunglass and face cap to cover his face took the dog making Lianne sad. "Do you want it?" Jordy asked her but she just shook her head deciding to let it go. She slowly retracted her gaze from the dog. Jordy paid for the dog and they left to a store. It was close to the pet store since the whole area consisted of things related to pets.The store, although small, had a good reputation. In the store, they check the pets and ensure they are fine before checking them out. Jordy took the goldfish to have it checked while Lianne stayed in the reception.Few minutes later, the lady who took the puppy earlier, walked in but this time, the guy wasn't with her. She checked her pocket as if looking for something and when she couldn't find it, she looked around before walking up to Lianne. "Uhm please can you help me hold my puppy? I'll be back in a bit". "Sure" Lianne replied.
