Chapter 20: Mr. Alexandre

To avoid confusion, Aj, Oliannah and Lianne refer to the same person. I realized I hadn't informed you guys of that change

Lianne and Jennifer sat in comfortable silence that was only disturbed by the ringing of Jennifer's phone📱. She greeted by a professional masculine voice.
"Miss. Jennifer I'm sorry to inform you that your application has been declined" and with that the call was cut making Jennifer sink deeper into her chair
"Uhm do you need a job. I didn't mean to pry but I couldn't help but hear what he said" Lianne said genuinely
"I've been trying to get a job but each company keeps turning me down. I was working in a cafe before but the owner died and her perverted son took over so I had to leave" Jennifer said with a frustrated sigh
"What're you guys talking about?" Jack said coming out of a room with a black short-handed button shirt whose top two buttons were lose. His disheveled hair had now been combed backwards. Lianne didn't reply but rather, walked towards his coat and retrieved his business card and handed it to Jennifer.
"His company is having an interview for some vacant positions. You can apply and if you are qualified, you'll be employed" she paused and turned to Jack before adding "take it as your appreciation towards her" Lianne said and walked outside leaving Jack to follow her
Jack walked hand in hand with Jennifer as he thanked her profusely before catching up with Lianne.

They got to a comp. Tianyue enterprises was one of the largest enterprises in the world. It was owned by an infamous ceo who liked to keep his identity a secret from the world. Apart from his family, only some people in his office knew how he actually looked.
Lianne and Jack walked into the building like they owned the place. They got into an elevator at the west wing of the ground floor and went to the pent house where the ceo resided. There was a corridor with marble tiles that shone that led to a department that worked closely with the ceo. They climbed a few steps whose railing were coated with gold. They pushed open the enormous doors and the sight that beheld them made Lianne stop in her tracks.
Before the ceo were the members of team QGDZ. Lianne knew she had to think fast or she would be caught. She then realized that the shareholder the guys said they were going to meet was Mr. Alexandre "Good morning Mr. Alexandre" Lianne said as professionally as she could with mock bow and luckily for her they bought it
"Mr. Alexandre, meet our newest member of team QGDZ, Oliannah." Zac said motioning to her
They spoke for a while before the Secretary walked into the office to inform the ceo about the arrival of other shareholders.
The meeting went on for quite some time and the ceo saw as Lianne and another guy shared stolen glances at each other and he noticed how they quickly retracted their gazes when their eyes met. Soon after, the meeting ended and Lianne left after some time, the guys also left.
After making sure the guys had left, Lianne walked back into the company and into the elevator to the pent house as graciously as ever. Her appearance caused a stir amongst employees since she had removed her disguise and now walked in natural beauty. Many of the ladies wondered who she was and eyed her jealously wondering if she was the girlfriend of the ceo for her to walk into the company's headquarters like she owned the place
"So who was that guy?" Mr. Alexandre asked after a few moments of silence wriggling his brows in playfulness
'Who are you talking about, Bj?" Lianne asked in mock confusion
"Oh please. Just because I was at the head of the table doesnt mean I didn't notice the stolen glances between you and that guy" Mr. Alexandre said
"I don't know what you're talking about and if you guys aren't saying anything I'm leaving" Lianne said
