Gray's Ability

It was already three in the morning and the night shift Butler from the main house ran to help him out with the bags. He took her to her room and tucked her in after removing her shoes. He took her purse and placed it over the side table. The purse happened to fall where a few of the items in the bag were scattered. He picked it up as he noticed the sleeping pills. He frowned and stared at her for a while. He didn't realize that she was suffering from this silently. This is a kind of depression that anyone could easily hide.

He checked all of her medicines as he took them with him. He carefully took her bags and put them aside. He went to park his car as the Butler was busy cleaning it up. He thanked him and was about to park the car. He frowned upon seeing a small figure walking toward him.

"Oh shit." He mumbled.

"Oh! Prince Kaiden, Prince Benny!" The Butler quickly rushed and reached their hands.

"How did those boys keep escaping?" he put his hands over his waist.

"Eris?" Kaiden pointed at Gray.

"She's sleeping, boys. Why won't you go to your dad's and change your diapers? Okay?" he crossed his arms at those two. Benny pouted and raised his arms as he closed and opened and closed and opened his hands. It was his goodbye. "Bye~bye."

He exhaled.

"They shouldn't escape. It's dangerous." He mumbled as he went back to the house and took a shower. Then, he lay beside her. She's sleeping peacefully.

He sat up as he decided something. He took one of the 360 cameras and placed it on the table. Then, he went to his room and put his running shorts and sweater on. Next, he put his running shoes on. He decided to walk to the main house first. The night shift Butler greeted him as he entered to find those boys, Benny and Kaiden in the playroom. He approached them.

"Why are the two of you still awake?"

"Eris!" Kaiden exclaimed as Benny ran to him.

"Hug!"

He picked up Kaiden and kissed his cheeks.

"So, tell me. Why are you awake?"

"We play," Kaiden said. "Gift. Eris. Look." He took out flowers. "Benny picked it."

"Oh, that's sweet." He patted Kaiden. "Alright, why won't the two of you go back to bed, and later you can play with Eris? How about that?"

"Leally?" Benny asked. "Play, Eris?"

"Yes," He looked at the Butler.

"I tried hard to give them milk but they simply can't fall asleep."

"I got it." He told the poor man. Then, he took the two upstairs to their room. Kal got up and rubbed his eyes. Benny giggled as he put the boy down. Then, he ran to his small bed and tucked himself in. He's just one and a half years old but he can sleep on his own. He then helped Kaiden to his bed. "Go back to sleep, Kal." He told the boy who lay down to sleep.

The door crept open as Harvey stood there.

"Did they escape?" Harvey asked.

"Yes. They ran to my house to greet Eris."

"Ohhh," Harvey chuckled. "These boys fall quickly, huh? And to your lady."

"Odd," Gray said as he tucked Benny and then Kaiden.

Then he walked outside as Harvey closed the door. Harvey is the father of Kaiden and Uncle of Benny and he's the King of the Evergarden Paradis located in Europe. It's a small country but it's a rich country.

"By the way, did you just arrive? When do you plan to go back?"

"Uhh, I haven't decided since the kids are here. And hey, I just arrived and yet you are already excited for me to leave?" Harvey looked hurt, dramatically. "Anyway, I plan to take Dione and Kaiden with me but they will get extremely bored since everyone is here."

Gray nodded his head but then Harvey stopped him.

"Let's jump to the office for a while."

Gray followed him to the most secured office that Harvey owns. They got in and Harvey turned on the big screen and tapped his passcode. He noticed the blinking as he thought of the location of a certain. But since Gray was handed off of everything, he's sure that there's something going on.

"You see, Dragon contacted me about the gems. The Phoenix Empire, which is currently rising, was holding the fire gem to secure it. Still, a group of people continuously search for it. I believe that it's Janella Lefebure together with Griffin Lefebure."

Gray crossed his arms.

"So, what do you imply?"

"They might have already planted a spy in here to find the gems."

Gray was silent as he thought deeply. His role was to find the spy. He will try to use his gift to see the future to locate all of the possible spies. He just needs a few days to focus on that. But first, he has to run and observe around. If he needs to go to the Paradis, he will. If he needs to go to the group of Phoenix, he will. Janella can't have all of the gems. There are consequences to every action and that action means the world and people.

"Shit. Fire gems can open the gates of damn hell if there is." Gray grumbled.

"Yes, so." Harvey leaned on the desk. "I know that you want to get married right away but~~you knew well that we can't disclose any information."

"I know."

"I am just reminding." He raised his hands.

Only a few knew that he could foresee a disastrous future if he could but he chose not to do it too much as it gives him massive headaches and nosebleeds sometimes. There's one time after the war between the Rossie and Lefebure that he collapsed after that nose bleed. He stopped doing it again for a few weeks. Sometimes, if it was urgent, it just came into his head.

"But don't do it too much." Harvey patted him. "Now, you can go on your run and I am going back to bed and make sure that those two won't be able to escape their room."

Gray laughed.

"Keep those boys out of my girl's way. I don't want them to steal her. Kaiden did a great way of stealing her time with me."

"Noted." Harvey laughed as they left the office.

Gray started running around the long driveway and garden and parked. It was two hours after he came back to his house. He cooled down first as the maids started preparing their breakfast. He's living a comfortable life thanks to his cousin, Karmina. He lived a tough life back then. He has to work and become a dog of Lefebure before he becomes a Doctor.

He took a bath and then he visited Eris who was still asleep. He fixed the blanket so she could sleep more. Taking that pill would give her body pain and she would feel sluggish. She moved sideways and reached for the pillow. She suddenly sat up and reached for the table. She froze when she noticed that she was not in her usual room.

"Darling, what do you need?" Gray asked.

"W-water, please."

He sat beside her as he reached her hand to touch the smart table. It has a drawer at the bottom that contains drinks and food. He then made her feel what kind of a bottle of water would look in her hands.

"Wow," She smiled. "But it's cold."

"Oh, darling. I can't put anything hot in here. It's dangerous." He said. "I will get you warm water then. Anything else?"

"I will go to the bathroom." She pushed the duvet as she put her feet down. He quickly took the slippers and put them on her feet. "Gray,"

"I know. I know that I am treating you like a baby. But let me." He said. "You are my only baby now."

Eris flushed as Gray led her to the bathroom. She started getting familiar with the room. Shortly Gray came with the warm water. She came out of the bathroom and used her hand to trace the wall. Gray put the mug over the bedside table. Then, he led her back to the bed. She sat down and sipped on the warm water. He sat beside her and caressed her hair.

"Sleep more. We will leave in four hours."

"Where to?"

"To pick up the kids." He grinned.

"Oh," She was surprised.

"It was like a three-hour drive but we will get there. I will use the sedan so you have the space to sleep~~Or maybe we could use a helicopter to get there" He scooped her face. "You couldn't sleep well last night, Eris?"

She shook her head.

"Why?"

"So-something~~a lot of things were going on in my head."

"Hmm," he kissed her temple. "We can run tomorrow."

"I~~I have never run before."

"Tomorrow we will." He promised her.

She smiled and nodded her head.

"I will buy you a pair of running clothes. Then we can go shopping by tomorrow."

She was speechless.
