Nothing to Tell

/Eliana's POV/

My phone rang for the fifth time, and it was him. I smiled as I pressed the red button. I looked at Edoardo and he was sleeping like a baby. Pouty lips, messy hair, and closed eyelids. I could watch him for hours. "God really loves . . ." my phone rang again, "me," I sighed and went to the bathroom to pick it up. I filled the tub and put some bath bombs in it. I can't handle this pressure if I don't relax my body. Lastly, I stripped myself and went inside the tub. And he called again.

**O.T.P**

"Why the fuck aren't you picking up?!"

"Good morning, babe," I said, making circles on the bubbles.

"What did you do to Regina last night?!"

"What do you mean?"

"Don't play around!"

"I was at home. What exactly could I do to her?"

"Okay, let me put it this way. What did you tell her?"

"Is there anything I shouldn't tell her?" he went silent, "that's what I thought,"

"Eliana, I swear if you say anything to her—"

"You will kill me, I know," I leaned back, "Plus, there is nothing to tell,"

"Yeah, there is nothing to tell," he hung up.

"There is nothing to remember either," I put my phone away and closed my eyes. Just then, I heard a knock on the bathroom door. "It's open!" I shouted.

"Breakfast is ready," Edoardo said, without fully opening it.

"I'll be there," he smiled and closed the door. I stayed like that for a while. It felt nice, but couldn't make me feel relaxed. So I stood up and rinsed myself. I wore a bathrobe before taking my phone and going out.

I opened my closet to choose my outfit. I honestly didn't know what to wear, but I continued to search. After fifteen minutes of searching, I found my outfit for the day. It was a black jumpsuit along with a black coat. I paired it with a black shining heel. I put on some makeup and curled my short hair leaving it open. I looked at the mirror satisfied with my look. I finally went downstairs and found Edoardo sitting on the table wearing his fine suit. He looks so gorgeous. He is so perfect, I mean perfectly shaped brows, broad shoulders that anyone can rely on, perfect body, and six feet high. I'm sure God just reborn some Goddess and gave him to me.

"Are you checking me out?" he spoke without removing his eyes from the phone.

"What if I am? Are you complaining?" I walked towards the table.

"Not at all," he put his phone down and pulled a chair for me. He hung my coat on the chair and kissed my head after I sat down. He put some food on my plate and took his seat. "Bon Appetite," I took the first bite. "Is it good?"

"It's amazing."

"I'm glad you liked it," he finally started eating.

After we finished, he put the dishes in the sink and started washing them. I was busy admiring his features. The way he does everything with passion, how he looks amazing while focusing on something, and everything about him. When he was done, he put them where they belong and turned to face me. He had the sweetest smile on his lips flushing his perfectly arranged white teeth and his cute dimples. I swear, if I didn't know him, I wouldn't believe that he was a mafia.

"You can take a picture if you want," his sweet smile changed into an evil smirk.

"Nah, I want to look at you," I returned the smirk resting my chin on the back of my fingers while putting my elbows on the table. He slowly approached me before leaning into my ears.

"I would like you to do more than just look," he kissed the skin he found below my ear.

"I would like that . . ." I pushed him slightly "But, we have a meeting after an hour. And we have to pretend to be strangers," I took my coat from the chair pecking his lips.

"See you later, Ms. Cassidy,"

"See you later, Mr. Bianchi." I left after blowing him a kiss.

I put on my sunglasses when I went out of my house. My driver was outside waiting for me standing in front of my black BMW. He opened the door of the back seat and I sat slowly not to lose my elegance. After making sure that I was comfortable, he closed the door and went to his seat. He finally started driving as I checked some news on my phone. The ride was supposed to be silent until he decided to say something.

"Ms. Cassidy, I have got the information you asked for," he said, handing me an envelope. I took it and proceed to see what was inside. "Mr. Gonzalez was lying. He wasn't at the club that day."

"Why did he lie to me then?" I said, looking through the pictures of the dead bodies.

"I don't know about that, but he moved out right after his investigation." This statement made me realize something.

"Haven't you tried to find him?"

"I did. There is no trace of him. I even tried to gather some information about his relatives. They don't know where he is." he took a turn to the left.

"How about his wife?"

"She left Sicily before him." He handed me another file. "This has everything about her," I looked at it and something wasn't right.

"It says here that she doesn't have any job and her family is poor," he nodded "Then how come she got a €150,000 deposit last month then?"

"I don't know about that, either. But that's before you found Gonzalez,"

"I didn't find him. He was sent to me." I rubbed my temple, "and it was all a setup."

"We're here," he stopped in front of a dark-themed building.

"Don't stop your investigation, Domenico. We need to find that bastard,"

"Sure, Ma'am," he got out of the car to open the door for me. I wore my sunglasses back as I went inside the building. I wasn't wearing them to brag. It's just my eyes are really sensitive to sunlight. While walking through the building, I noticed that it was filled with a bunch of masculine men who were wearing a suit. They also had something inside their ear, and it was earphones. Meaning, all my guests are here. They are practically my business partners, but I'd like to call them guests. They come once a month and demand royal family treatment. I sometimes want to kill them. Nonetheless, they are my potential partners. And I hate that.

"Good morning, Ms. Cassidy. They are waiting for you in the conference room," it was my secretary holding a lot of documents in her hand. I nodded and we went to the conference room.

"Good morning gentlemen," I said grabbing their attention. Everyone turned their heads to make sure that it was me. "Shall we begin?" I sat in the middle of the circle table.

"Ms. Cassidy, we looked at the portfolio you gave us. But I don't think we can go further with this investment. Our Bank can only give you half of the amount you required," a man wearing a glass spoke.

"Excuse my language but our money is not a leaf you can cut off of trees. You can't just ask for two billion euros in ten days," it was another shareholder.

"Our money?" I raised a brow. "I have spent more than one billion euros in this bank. Let me add one more thing. I have a 55 percent share in this bank which if you know about numbers higher than your five percent. I'm asking for the money I have spent for your bank to exist. Don't act like am begging for your money," I leaned forward looking dead into his eyes.

"Listen, Cassidy, this bank is not your dad's wallet. Its—"

"My wallet," I slammed the table, "I paid for the bank with my own money. So leave my dad out of this,"

"Ms. Cassidy, I understand that you asked your own money, but give us some time so—"

"No!" I stood up and turned to him, "You will give it to me in ten days. If not I will increase the amount twice, for every day that you add, how does that sound?"

"Cassidy, you can't control—"

"No one asked, Mr. Five percent!" I turned to Mario, "And trust me, if it wasn't for my money, you would be begging in the streets," he slowly lowered his head. "that's what I thought." I finally sat down.

"That was all. You may leave," I crossed my legs. Mario stormed out and the younger man followed behind. The rest of them lastly left and now, it's only me and Edoardo. I sighed loudly as I relaxed my body. I closed my eyes trying to escape this harsh reality when two strong hands started massaging my shoulders.

"You did well," he kissed my head.

"Thank you," I removed his hands and turn to face him. "I wouldn't have done it without you," I planted a soft kiss on his lips. He held my waist when I was about to remove myself and deepen the kiss. He moved his lips slowly yet in a passionate manner. His left hand cupped my cheek and tilted me to get more access. He finally left my lips after biting them slightly.

"Does Leonardo kiss you like this?" he said on my lips.

"So your little secret agent tells you everything?" I put my hands around his neck rising a brow.

"It was just my secretary who happened to be in that club," he wiped the lipstick from my chin.

"I know." I put my hands down.

"Are you mad?" he bent down to see my face.

"No, I'm just tired," I forced my lips open for a smile.

"It's only 2 pm. Do you want to grab lunch? It's like a reward."

"No, I need to go somewhere," I got up from my seat.

"Don't stress yourself, okay?" I nodded and went out of the room. My secretary was waiting for me outside.

"Anna, cancel everything I have for today. I don't want anyone to disturb me," I said as I walked out.

"Sure," she went to her office.
