New girl

Jeneya's POV

"Jeffrey! So you've been here all this time . You really should stop giving me a heart attack." A girl arround my ages said looking at the dog . She must be the dog's owner.

She look exhausted, she must be searching for Jeffrey. I took a second look at her and God she's gorgeous. Her eyes are green and shiny like an emarald. This girl gems for eyes . Her long blonde hair in a ponytail. She look like she went out of a movie set.

" Hey ! I hope Jeffrey's not bothering you to much . He has this habit of running away when I'm not looking. " The girl said smiling. She has a really good smile too . A genuine one , unlike the fack smiles that most preety girl have .

" Oh no . He's a good boy . No trouble at all, I've always wanted a dog and it's pleasure to with Jeffrey." I said returning her smile.

" Thanks. I'm Daisy by the way. It's so nice to meet you ." She said.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Jeneya but you can call me Jen ." I said .

" Are you from arround here? We just moved in yesterday. Can you show me around the neighborhood? If that's okay with you." She asked still smiling. I don't have the heart to say no and I plan on staying out anyway. So we decided to hangout. The first thing that came to my mind is the museum.

I wonder if she'll think it's boring.

" There's actually a museum arround here . It has mostly ancient records and artifacts. .." I start off saying .

" Really! That's great. I'm such a history geek . Let's goo ." She beamed. Well I wasn't expecting that . I thought she'll pass saying it's boring stuff . This girl just got better and better. I like her even more.

" That makes the two of us . I'm a history geek too . You're the first person I met who is into this stuff. Other than me of course." I said.

It's really great to finally meet someone who has the same taste as me . We talk about all sorts of things on the way. Time pasd so quick with her . Turns out her dad is a famous archeologist and her mom a historian. That's where she inherited the love of history . She told me stories about her parents'findings and I find so fantastic

She's really lucky . I wish my parents are like that . I was really my time when out of nowhere, my stomach started hurting really bad . I stopped walking holding my stomach.

" Hey! You okay . You don't look too good." Daisy said looking at me .

" My stomach hurting so bad . I think I'll have to go home. I really wanted to see museum with you . I'm so sorry." I sighed.

" Don't worry about it . We can always hangout later. I'll call you an uber . Call me when you are home . " She reassured me.

Why does it have to be now of all time ? I really want to go there . I mean I've been there before but this is the first time going with a friend with same taste .

I sulk the whole way home . I hope I meet her again soon.

Once I reach home , I went straight to the bathroom. I called mom and told her about my condition.

" Be honest with me here . Did you eat any junk food ? " My mom asked.

" What's that gotta do with that ? Please just give me a pill or something. It hurt so bad." I grumbled.

" Just answer me Jeneya." My mom raised her voice . I got a little scared.

" I might have eaten a little bit of street food . " I replied.

" I strictly told you not to eat any junk food . I cook every day just so you don't have to eat those ." She shouted.

" I'm sorry Mom. It just smell really good and I wanted to try ." I said giving her my puppy eyes .

" I'll be ready in 5 minutes. We're going to the hospital. You should really listen to what I say . There's a reason I don't only you to do certain things. You have a weak system. Your body can't digest all those gluttons. You can't just eat any food ." She sighed.

I remained silent. Mom looks really worried. I felt bad . I should've listen to mom. I broke her rules and see where I am.

Luckyly I got better after the doctors run some test and give the medicines . We returned home and I went to bad swearing I'll never break a rule again. It's so scary, to think eating some delicious food will get me to the hospital. Wait , I'm supposed to call Daisy .

" Jen! Are you okay now? I was so worried." She start asking as soon as she picked up .

" Hey Daisy! Yeah , I'm fine now. It turns out I can't eat junk . I have a digestive disorder or something like that." I replied.

" I'm glad you're okay . And I forgot to tell you this but I'm actually starting school tomorrow. You go to Kinrin High school right? That's where I'm going. See you at school." She said.

" No way. That's great news but isn't it like the middle of season . How come they accept transfer students? " I asked puzzled .

" I don't know but I think my dad might have pull some strings. Anyway I can't wait to see you tomorrow." She replied. Yeah she's right. I'm glad I'll actually have a friend in school. The mean girls won't be able to tease me for being a loner . Like I said, I don't nesserarily hate being alone but it's good to have someone to hang out.

We talked for a bit and then said goodnight. I went to my dreamland to see my prince charming. At least in my dreams, I can be whoever I want to be . That's the best thing about dreams. You can do whatever you want there and no one will even care . No body will tell what you can or can't do .
