36: Grey Sweatpants

Nova returned to her room after lunch because Roan had somewhere to be and it made her wonder just how often she would need to accompany him. She was actually excited to start her new job because she wanted to do something in turn for him.

As the sun started to set, there was a knock on her door, prompting her to go over to it. Could it be Roan? He hadn't mentioned dinner but still, she hadn't been expecting him to return so soon.

She quickly opened the door only to be greeted with nothing but a stack of boxes. Nova frowned at them, wondering if a mistake had been made. It was highly unlikely though, if a maid had it brought to her room, there couldn't have been a mistake.

So she picked up the boxes and brought them into her room, suddenly remembering that Roan had mentioned something about customized devices during lunch. She guessed that it was equipment that came with her position but she didn't expect them to show up so soon.
