MY HEART CAN NEVER BE GIVEN OUT TO ANYONE

"Not to do what?" Lysander asked a bit confused.

"Uh...I don't know... maybe...you know what kings do! Execute her!! Yes... I won't let you execute her!" Anastasia said and raised her chin up as if competing with Lysander's authority!

Lysander's gaze fell on Thyra! Nobody in Rivendelle knew he was king or even his real name or his existence or identity! Rivendelle thought that Lysander was Amberjill, his father! And he didn't make it known to Anastasia also! So that only meant Thyra had fed her with a lot of information and would have added more if he hadn't step in. She went too far!!

When Thyra felt the piercing gaze of Lysander on her, she tried to read his thoughts to listen to what he might be saying about her or the punishment he was thinking about in his head but Lysander already knew how smart she could be and blocked his thoughts from reaching her! He was their king and therefore he had all their powers and even more!!!

Truth was Lysander's father was born with a unique difference and that was what made Rivendelle think he was creepy. But there was a puzzle all of them were missing! How come Lysander's father, Amberjill was created with extraordinary power but the rest of his brothers weren't?

Amberjill was not a member of King Labhrainn's family. He was not connected to Labhrainn in anyway. Amberjill's mother was originally from Edgeville and just like everyone from Edgeville, she was endowed with Nature's most powerful powers! But she did something forbidden!!She fell in love with an ordinary human being. Soon enough she got pregnant with Amberjill! When Amberjill's grandmother noticed her daughter was pregnant, she was a little bit disappointed she hadn't marry before getting pregnant! But the signs her daughter experienced were signs human women face when they got pregnant not Edgeville's women! The grandmother asked Amberjill's mother wether the child's father was human! And she replied in the positive!! Amberjill's grandmother reported the news to the past king of Edgeville!!

Per the rules, anyone who did those forbidden acts would have to be banned from Edgeville and not wanting to expose Edgeville's special powers, they would draw the special powers installed in the banished person!! Amberjill's father abandoned Amberjill's mother when she confessed she wasn't human!! He excused himself by lying to her that he wasn't ready for a son.

Freshly banned from Rivendelle, with no family and with no home, Amberjill's mother, Angela, became depressed! After several weeks of searching for a helper, she found King Labhrainn's mother, Queen Estela. Queen Estela accepted Angela to serve as a servant in the palace! But on the day of delivery, the pregnant woman was terribly sick from working hard and depression! While delivering, Amberjill's mother Angela asked the queen Estela to promise her to take and treat Amberjill like one of her own! But before the queen could protest, the woman's eyes shut close!!

The queen had to accept Amberjill and had to come to an agreement with King Labhrainn's father to accept Amberjill as their very own!

Soon, Rivendelle was shocked when it was announced that, the queen had given birth to a son! They asked how come they hadn't seen any bump or anything which showed she was pregnant, because the queen had given a speech just a day ago with a flat tummy and now they were just bombarded with the fact that she had given birth to a prince was born!

But the people were asked to mind their own businesses and that was when Rivendelle's hatred for Amberjill, Lysander's father started.

It all began with a strong suspicion!!!

The next day, in Rivendelle!!

Rex was still in pain but he could talk now! He was better than before at least!! The king which was King Labhrainn, his wife, Xenia and Casimir, and a few other significants were present in Rex's room, particularly the medical ward! They were waiting for him to answer the questions they asked him earlier before!

" I...I...am.... deeply sorry your highness!... I failed you, I failed Rivendelle and I failed the soldiers and the army..!" Rex cried for the first time in front of the King and the people present. Xenia felt so weird she felt like throwing up!

"Continue, Rex!" the king said eager to listen to what he had to say!

" We searched for the prin... princess all day as you demanded...my king (cough).... but we got no information on her possible location or whereabouts! So we headed to the forest area after a while of looking around for signs and leads, we saw a man! He was a very tall man with shoulder length hair .He beat every last one one of us and there was just this air around him!"

"Was it Amberjill you saw??" The king asked with anticipation filled in his voice holding his breath! But the answer Rex brought out haunted him...

" I don't know! His face was covered in a mask!"

"GREAT!!! JUST WHAT I NEEDED! So if you are alive? Where are the others?"

"None of them made it alive...infact I wouldn't if he hadn't spare me! He sent me to tell you what I had seen!"

Everyone gasped and went back a little! King Labhrainn knew war would break out sooner or later so he had to protect the rest of his family even if he failed to protect Anastasia!

"Xenia move to Windstorm with your mother and brother, for the meantime, until situations sore down!"

"Father...we can't leave you here! If something happens to you.....!"

"Nothing! I repeat absolutely nothing can happen to me okay? You leave by tomorrow!!!" He said and left the dumbfounded Xenia and everyone in there!

Meanwhile, Lysander had brought Thyra to his grand throne room despite the dangerous warning from the little kitten, Anastasia!

The crystal floorings and ceilings complimented each other very well and his throne was compared to none in the whole kingdom! All the rare natural minerals mined by the people of Edgeville was used in modeling the throne. They were bright with sharp clear white crystals on each side of the throne! No body was permitted to sit on his throne! Even if they were permitted to do so, they would die sitting on the throne before they could even think of getting up because the throne emanated so much power which only Lysander's heart could take!!!

He sat on his throne confidently and placed a hand on his chin staring at Thyra!

"Why did I assign you to take care of the princess?" He asked still staring at her as if scanning her!

"B....because you..... you... you... you trust... trusted me!" she stuttered.

"How much have you told her?"

"A lot!"

"And they are...?"

"I made her know she was the...the...the...one....one des...destined for your hatred-filled heart! We've found her, king!!! And you know...one thing we fear is if your anger exceeds the highest point, Edgeville can be in danger and that is why you're....be... being pe... persuaded to marry in order to provide a successor as soon as possible!!!!" she spluttered and gasped a little at how far she went!

"You won't ever repeat those words again right?" He asked using his powers to twist her arm in pain!

"Ahh! R...rig...right! right I won't. I promise!!" she said wincing in pain!

"My heart can never be given out to anyone it can kill anyone who tries to, understood? And even if my heart is to be given to someone I will NEVER ALLOW IT!"

"Actually you will!" The past king of Edgeville's wife said out loud!!!!
