Who Get's the Egg?

Half an hour passed as Bil finished harvesting materials and stored everything in his vector ring. He also started a fire near the cave's entrance and tried to find some comfortable rocks to sit on, offering them an enclosed campsite that won't be bothered by anyone.

In the meantime, Nelphy and Zac used that time to naturally recover. When Nelphy finished fully healing her wounds, she made sure that Zac's injuries were also taken care of.

The younger duo then approached Bil, a little baffled at how casual and carefree he still was after such an encounter.

"If you can't roll with these kinds of punches, then perhaps the mercenary lifestyle won't suit you in the end," commented Bil. "And neither would war. But it would slow your training and growth a bit too drastically to not live that way… Anyway, how are you two feeling?"

"Great…" Zac answered while exhaling. His injuries weren't critical but adding his exhaustion had made it much worse.
