Taking Over the Investigation

Tiberius took a moment to sit back, calm down, and think. "... How indeed."

"Can't you just go and find out?" asked Zac. "Wouldn't that be the safest bet?"

"Hmm… Possibly… But the conqueror isn't as complex as you would believe. His motives and actions are simple in nature… Given certain circumstances, it's best that we confirm this man's identity without him knowing we've done so. And that's the most difficult part of it all…" Sighing, Tiberius rubbed his temples, "If you weren't leaving so soon, I'd head to Conqueror City now. I could do it, but I'd have to rush there and back, alarming the other cities in the process. And that's too risky…"

Stuck in a swamp of disbelief, Zac chuckled nervously, "So… that means I have to be the one to confirm it?"

"Yes. That's correct."

"... Do I have to do it as soon as possible?"
