Sparring, Sword vs Spear

Seeing the old hunter make a stone sword in seconds, Jash and the others were taken aback. But what nearly pushed them over the edge was that it was a kora with similar dimensions to Jash's kora.

Crunch…

Pulling the stone kora out of the ground, Dedric tossed it to Jash. "Here. Tell me how that feels."

Jash stored his kora and caught the blunt, stone sword. "... It feels good. A little different than mine, but not bad at all."

"There you go. Feel free to keep that until you break it," chuckled Dedric. "Now, you're both ready, right?"

"Yes!" Jash replied.

Ayjen nodded. "Mhm."

"Okay… Have at it."

Chtung!

On Dedric's cue, the spear and sword clashed. Without veita, the spear failed to crack the stone blade or mark it in any way. But the stone sword also failed to break through both the spearhead and the shaft of the spear.

So Ayjen stepped back and used the spear's greater reach to his advantage.
