Peaceful and Anxious Dawn

"... You were right…"

With a telescope brought up to his eye, a man stood on the wall. He was hundreds of bromes north of the crowd cheering around the arrested and detained rebels. Wearing a full-body cloak with a color similar to the wall, the man stood on the wall's edge facing the city.

As the man stored the telescope in a vector ring, a slight smile appeared on his face. But there was still a sense of hesitation in the man's eyes.

"Time to follow the plan, I guess… Whether I'm prepared or not."

The man stared at the celebration atop the wall for a few moments longer. Then, he stepped off the wall and fell into the city below.

*********

"Wow… That was a world?" Jash stammered in awe while leaning against the wall's outer parapet.

Ignorant of his injuries while in a state of wonder, Jash's eyes were locked onto Guild Master Nadon until Nadon walked through the eastern gate and was out of sight.
