If You Were Alone, How Far Could You Go?

The new duo spent fifteen minutes racing through the sky of the surrounding area. Though there were moments when Bil acted stern to keep Rex from straying too far from the wyvern cave, Rex just used that as a chance to pull an aerial stunt and rocket off in another direction.

Eventually, Bil led Rex back to the wyvern cave and landed atop the hill. "Good boy… Tell me, did this used to be your home?"

Rohhh… Rex groaned and nodded.

"Ah. So the couple showed up and kicked you out, huh?" Thinking for a second, Bil chuckled, "You know what, that makes you lucky, Rex. You're probably the wyvern that got reported to us, but the other wyverns died instead because they kicked you out before anyone showed up."

Roh! ROH!

Bil laughed as Rex puffed out his chest, mocking the dead wyvern couple. It was happy to gain any sort of advantage over the beasts that had taken advantage of it.
