Getting to Know the Party

Hours passed as the party traveled on foot. They had determined that spending more time together would be best since most of the party members barely knew each other, choosing to not go on horseback.

Those most comfortable with that decision were definitely the mercenaries, Bolton included. Zac and Bolton had plenty of experience traveling in all sorts of ways. Of course, Bil, Jash, and Nelphy were all too accustomed to traveling by foot. Among the disciples, Kriff seemed the most at ease about the choice to walk while Willo and Ayjen seemed indifferent. Orsen was the one most irked by the choice but he had no confidence to voice that complaint after everything that had happened already.

After passing a few wagons or caravans, the party stopped for an afternoon lunch break.

"Keep it fast," stated Zac, finding a seat on a fallen log not far from the road. "We leave in half an hour. Do what you must while you're able."
