Asking For Advice

"What's this I hear about a new elder?"

Ayjen entered the pub with a sigh. He and Kriff dropped off the baskets while glancing at the date night duo at a table in the corner.

Bil was leaning over the counter as he accepted the empty baskets. "Do one of you plan to tell me about this new Chateau Elder? Or do you need a drink first?"

"A drink would be good…" Ayjen agreed with a reserved nod.

"If you don't have any requests, then have a beer on the house. Consider it a tip for helping deliver the food." Bil took out two bottles, uncorked them, and waited for Kriff to sit as well. "Now, who's the new elder?"

Fidgeting a bit, Ayjen glanced at the cool and collected Kriff. So Ayjen chugged half the bottle, stilling his woes enough to start explaining.
