Kali opened her eyes when it was finally night time. She was able to tell by the internal clock she had subconsciously created. As she was getting up, she heard the sounds of several people running.
In the corner of her eye, she saw Natsu, Happy, Gray, and Lucy enter the cave that she was in. She also noticed that the other three were gone, which she didn't care about. As long as they weren't bothering her, she wasn't going to bother them.
"Kali!" Natsu yelled which Kali waved in return. "So you were here the entire time?"
"Yep, I was looking at this." Kali said, pointing at the frozen Deliora.
"That..that…" Gray stammered.
Kali understood why Gray was reacting this way, after all, the old friend of hers was Gray's master. She was the one who taught Gray magic and the one who also taught Kali a few things. Yet, Kali still somewhat disliked her since Ur was the opposite of her.
"Eh? Gray? You know that thing?" Lucy asked.
Gray nodded. "Yeah, my master was the one who sealed him, the demon of destruction, Deliora. Kali, why is he here?"
"I saw a few people and it seems they want to revive Deliora with the Moon Drip." Kali replied. "And it seems like the Moon Drip is what's causing this curse."
Suddenly, the ground shook as a purple magic spell appeared on the roof as it shone on Deliora's figure.
"The moon's light!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Let's not waste any time." Kali said. "Let's find the source of the light."
Together, they headed up several flights of stairs until they finally saw the stars that illuminated the light. It was funny how a beautiful sight could be next to a horrifying one.
What they saw was a group of people surrounding the center of the purple light. They could hear a faint chant.
"It seems like they're dead set on reviving Deliora." Kali said.
"Idiots!" Gray exclaimed. "They don't know how horrifying Deliora is! Moreover, isn't Iced Shell impossible to melt?"
"You're right but also wrong Gray." Kali replied. "Focused Moon Energy can break any spell as well as contaminate people's bodies."
"You can't be serious…" Happy said.
"Then, is the Moon Drip the phenomenon the islanders believe is a curse?" Lucy asked.
Kali nodded. "Most likely."
"Well? What are we waiting for?" Natsu asked as he stood up with fire blazing from his palms. "Let's beat them up."
Instantly, Kali dragged Natsu back down so the enemy wouldn't spot them. Near them, there were multiple footsteps.
Kali took a peak and saw the same three people, however, there was someone else. A figure with a "mighty" appearance and a helmet over his head to cover his face. Only the mouth area was revealed.
When the covered figure spoke, Kali noticed that Gray's expression had changed into one filled with disbelief.
"That must be Cold Emperor." Kali said. "Gray, do you know him?"
"I'm not sure yet." Gray said through gritted teeth. "But his voice, it sounds too familiar."
"Then, why don't you figure it out yourself?"
"Huh?"
Kali smiled. "Oi! Natsu! We're going to fight them, make a great entry for us."
Natsu grinned. "You got it!"
Natsu leaped onto the wall and yelled at the top of his lungs while spitting out fire. "We're the wizards of Fairy Tail and we're the ones who came to interfere!"
The next one who got up was Gray, then Happy, then Lucy, and finally Kali. The three didn't react until they saw Kali and realized that she was with Fairy Tail.
"Cold Emperor! That's her!" Sherry exclaimed while pointing at Kali. "She's the one who defeated the three of us without using magic."
Kali smiled and waved at Sherry. She felt like teasing her a little bit. "Hello love?~"
Unexpectedly, Sherry suddenly turned as red as a tomato and had steam coming out of her ears.
"H-huh? L-love?!" Sherry stammered while hiding behind her teammates.
While Lucy and Gray were giving Kali a look of disbelief, Kali didn't think much about it since she thought Sherry was embarrassed because Sherry would always say love.
"I can't believe you just did that…" Gray muttered.
"Doesn't that mean she's cheating on Mira?" Lucy asked in horror.
Kali turned towards the two in confusion. "Do what? Cheating on Mira? What are you talking about?"
""Nevermind.""
"I see, so you're the one who beat them." Cold Emperor said while looking at Kali. "The rest of you will eradicate the villagers, I'll deal with her."
Before anyone could react, Gray charged in first.
"You're dealing with me first!" Gray said as he casted his Ice-Make Spell. "Stop your stupid ceremony this instant!"
When Gray's fist crashed onto the ground, waves of ice spikes started heading towards them at a high speed. However, with one hand, Cold Emperor did the same move and countered it. Because of the ice canceling each other out, they broke.
"Lyon!" Gray called out. "It's you isn't it?"
"It's been a while, Gray."
"What's the meaning of this?"
Kali leaned back against the tree, she felt as if things were going to be even more interesting from here on. After all, when you become stronger than somebody else, fights don't entertain as much anymore.
"To think that you were one of the wizards the villagers called here…" Lyon said. "Did you come here knowingly? Or was it sheer coincidence?"
"Is this an acquaintance of yours, Lyon?" Yuka asked.
"Get going. I can handle this myself." Lyon replied.
"Yes, sir!"
"Oi! Get back here!" Natsu yelled as he started chasing after them.
"Wait! Don't move Natsu!" Gray warned. However, it was too late. Chilly wind started to swirld around Natsu.
Immediately, Kali appeared in front of Natsu.
"Magic of the Elements. Blaze." Kali murmured under her breath. "Natsu! Chase after them along with Lucy and Happy!"
"Alright! Thank you Kali!" Natsu said before running off with the other two.
"Oh? I didn't expect you to be able to counter it." Lyon said.
"You shouldn't be surprised." Kali said. "After all, I'm much stronger than you."
"You!"
"So to make this fair, I'll step out of this fight." Kali said as she turned to Gray. "Isn't this fine?"
"Of course." Gray replied. "I'll beat him for tarnishing Ur's name."
"You better, Ur was one of my friends." Kali whispered.
"Huh? Did you say something?"
"Nothing, focus on your fight." Kali said before turning away. "I'm going to check on something."
"Oi! I'm not done with you-"
Before Lyon could continue what he was saying, ice spikes started coming at him.
"You're no longer a student of Ur's, Lyon!"
"Heh! Neither were you!"

Kali walked away from the fight to analyze what was going on with Deliora. If she was correct, even if the ice had melted, Deliora shouldn't be alive. Unless something unexpected happened.
"Hmph, this should be fun." Kali said as she placed her hand on the ice as it started to glow.
"The Reversing of Time Flow, let the past become the present."
