Fairy 70: Something not right Part I

{…Master, something isn't right about those two…} Went Nightfall, speaking into Zack's mind.

'Something isn't right?' Zack askes through the link between them.

{Yeah, maybe I am being too cautious… but something is really odd about them. I had seen many people schemed against my masters in the past. And clearly that blondie, is too bad at acting, almost showing her true personality. Not to mention, the moment they saw you Master, they were shocked.} Nightfall went.

'Isn't that because they didn't expect anyone be near them?' Zack went through their link. He too would become shocked if someone appeared out of nowhere before him.

However, Zack also recalled they also sensed him coming towards him.

And if one think about it, weren't they a little too shock to see a stranger they don't know? Almost like… they already knew about him. But didn't expect to see him this soon, or is that just him?

Nightfall, even without the link between them. Could tell on the expression on his face, he must figure out about the fact, these girls were way too shocked, upon seeing a stranger. Even if it shocking seeing someone you don't know, you still wouldn't be this surprised, unless you expect no one near you, but those girls already sensed Zack heading towards him.

Meaning, no matter what, the shocked expression the girls had, was too long, and oddly strange, no matter who looks at it, unless they dense as Zack, or dumb like Natsu. Even so, Vottes and Natsu still will tell something wrong, with their dragon like intuition they have.

{Master, it may be best to keep your guard up, there many people out there, that will not think twice, when they will scheme each other. And clearly something isn't right about those two. And remember, besides the Nine Hands, or whatever they called. There are also those guys from Black Rivers, was it? Still looking wanting to hunt that dragon girl down.} Nightfall pointed out, as Zack nodded his head.

And Nightfall as wise he could be, has no clue how right he is.

Because right before the man and sword duo, stood two members of that very guild, that still hunting down Vottes. These two girls are the very same twintail and ponytail women, that were sitting behind Joloshi in her car, when they spotted Vottes and her new partner, Zack.

The duo from Black Rivers never expected their target, which is Zack, not Vottes, will pop out of the middle of nowhere before them! What kind of luck is this?

Of course, the purple haired woman almost fell to the ground, when she heard her friend's words. But seeing that Zack just looked confused, before missing the serious look in his grassy eyes for a single moment. She cannot help to sighed with relief, seeing their plans hasn't failed just yet.

And their plan?

Is of course to seduce Zack into falling for either of them, to make him betray Vottes, before they head to the ambush site to attack them.

Their main mission is to blend in, and make some kind of mental attack towards Vottes, before killing Zack at the ambush site. And also kidnapped Vottes, who will fall into abyss known as despair when Zack betrays her.

Of course, either of the girls wanted to do this.

But Joloshi is one crazy b*tch, which is why they had no choice in the matter. Not to mention, the purple haired beauty felt a headache coming along, when she realised, even if the twintail's acting is poor, she still betters choice, over the silver long haired woman, whose personality too serious to act fake like this.

No… now she thinks about it… maybe both of them as bad as each other?

"Anyway… I am Zack, a wandering wizard at this moment." Zack went, not informing his guild, unlike wizards normally do, when they met one and another. And greeted the two girls before him with a smile, even if on the inside he is very guarded against these two girls.

"Nice to meet you Zack, I am Yi, and this friend of mine, is Joy." Went the purple haired woman, or Yi her name is, as it also matches in their Status. And went before Zack and offer to shake his hand, which Zack reached out, and shake her hand, still remaining on guard against her.

"I am J-Joy! I-It's ni-nice to meet you!" Joy went, the twintail blondie, who still showing how poor her acting skills are. Which Yi herself cannot help to cursed inside her mind, hoping Joy wouldn't give them away.

"I see, Joy and Yi, right? What being you two here? Of course, you don't have to answer me if you don't want to." Zack went with carefree smile, while on the inside, he closely watched the actions of these two girls before him, before he decides they are friendly or not.

"We're actually wizards as well, rouge ones at that… we are on our way to Albro, what about you? You wouldn't be heading to Albero as well?" Yi asked.

When Zack heard that, he doesn't find it odd at all, and even lower his guard slightly. However a certain poor actor, made him think otherwise with her next words.

"That's right! We also came from Foglia as well! Isn't that right Yi!" When Zack heard that, at first, he didn't find it strange, since he has no clue where Foglia is.

However, at this moment Zack even if he didn't show it on his calm face. He is actually very serious at this moment. And noticed two things that are odd. One is the words of 'we also came from Foglia', applying they must had seen him in the town before, that seems to be called Foglia.

Of course, that alone wouldn't raise any kind of suspicious. But Yi's next actions were a different story. The moment Joy said they came from the same town, applying they were following them, or sneaking onto them, she felt shamed and even covered her face, giving away something were odd about Joy's words.

No matter how dense Zack is, there no way he wouldn't link the two oddities together, only to become even more wary of the two girls before him.

{Hmm, the purple haired one, Yi was it, her acting skills not bad. But that other girl on the other hand, she is either an airhead, or just bad at acting.} Nightfall went with a amuse voice.

'Yeah… even I can tell something is wrong, with the way she acts.' Zack told Nightfall.

{Oh? Even someone as dense as Master, could tell? Anyway Master, it still unknown what their intentions are. Best way is to play along and see how this goes. Not to mention… the timing is too perfect, I don't they part of that masked man group, that nearly finished Master off. Mostly likely they are from Black Rivers.}

'I see… should I dispose of them?' Zack went, asking the advice of his ancient sword.

{No… I said most likely, doesn't mean they from Black Rivers, they could also be Dark Wizards from a different Dark Guild then Black Rivers, or maybe they not even Dark Wizards, but like they said, rouge wizards, that don't belong to a guild. Or the possibility they might hidden their identity because they also as cautious as we are.}

'Then… what should we do?' Zack asked through the link between him, and Nightfall. While Zack still smiled before the two girls and begin to chat among themselves.

{Simple, let them tell us what they are. But we cannot just flatly ask them who they are. Let me teach you something I learn from one of my past Masters. This is a way to learn what you want, that is through simple nonrelated questions, but the key isn't just the questions, that someway related to the clues you need. But their reactions towards those simple nonrelated questions… for example, what if Master asked them this…}

When Nightfall begins to tell Zack what to say, Zack himself become slightly startled. And of course, Yi and Joy that were speaking with Zack, also noticed the flinch of Zack's eyes, when he heard what Nightfall told him to do, as well say.

"Something the matter?" Yi asked, as went a step closer to Zack, with a worried look, but on the inside, she just acted worried, as an excuse to come closer to him.

"Nothing, I was just spaced out, what were you saying?" Zack asked with a wry smile on his face.

"We just asked you, if it possible if you could help us to reach the next town with you, that if you don't mind of course." Yi went shyly, and even show a seducing smile on her lips, as she stepped closer to Zack.

However, this didn't work on Zack who looked at her, as if question marks existed above his head, as he looked at her weirdly. Then he recalled Vottes sometimes do the same, however, he feels nothing when Yi does it, but he felt something when Vottes does this.

Not to mention, is it him? Why when Yi does this, it feels forced and fake? Or least that what Zack thought, seeing her strange actions.
