Giant Serpents

Ben found himself facing two massive serpents at the entrance of the cave. Aware of their formidable strength, he approached the situation cautiously, recognizing the opportunity to refine his skills.

"I have a new technique I'd like to test, so you guys will be my subjects," Ben said with a grin.

While the serpents couldn't comprehend Ben's words, they sensed the impending confrontation. As wild beasts, their instincts informed them of Ben's strength.

The male serpent swiftly lunged at Ben, its massive body moving surprisingly fast. Evading the attack, Ben created a magic circle before him.

"Sun Dragon's Roar!" he declared.

A stream of scorching sun plasma energy surged from Ben's mouth, striking the male serpent's head and forcefully pushing it aside. Witnessing its partner being attacked, the female serpent retaliated, prompting Ben to leap away and halt his assault.

Observing the minor burn on the male serpent's scales, Ben acknowledged the toughness of their skin.

"It seems I was correct; my fire and plasma lack the necessary heat to burn through those scales," Ben remarked.

Recognizing the limitation in his magic, Ben acknowledged the longstanding issue with the temperature of his fire and plasma. Despite being aware of the problem, he had chosen not to address it earlier, opting to focus on increasing his magical power.

Understanding the extraordinary heat of the sun compared to regular fire, Ben expressed a desire to learn more about it from the world's scientific knowledge.

"This world should have information about the sun, right? I hope some scientists have studied it so that I can gain more insight later," Ben pondered.

Interrupted by the female serpent's renewed attack, Ben skillfully evaded each assault. In the midst of the serpents' coordinated strikes, Ben activated a spell—Sun Dragon's Plasma Sphere.

Creating a defensive sphere of orange plasma with a two-meter diameter that expanded to ten meters, Ben successfully separated the two serpents. The scorching heat not only served as a defensive measure but also inflicted damage by burning their scales.

With the serpents momentarily separated, Ben focused on the male serpent to his left. As he ran, preparing a spell, he formed a magic circle on his right hand.

"Sun Dragon's Bomb!" Ben exclaimed.

A miniature sun ball materialized in Ben's hand as he approached the male serpent. In response, the serpent expelled a purple vapor, but Ben expertly tossed the sun ball into its open mouth. The ensuing explosion caused the serpent's body to swell, emitting fire and smoke.

Concerned that the explosion might not be sufficient, Ben observed the serpent's delayed fall to the ground. Confirming its demise through the absence of magical power, Ben breathed a sigh of relief.

Addressing the female serpent, mourning the loss of her partner, Ben acknowledged their enmity.

"You can hate me; that's the nature of survival. You pose a threat to my kin, making you my enemy. If you wish to survive, try to kill me, if you can," Ben declared.

In response, the female serpent's eyes turned from yellow to red, revealing her heightened fury. As Ben sensed an impending danger, the female serpent raised her head skyward and emitted a powerful force, propelling Ben backward.

Recovering from the impact against a tree, Ben noticed a change in the female serpent's scales from brown to black. Suddenly, she unleashed a dark purple beam towards Ben, who narrowly evaded the attack.

Observing the destructive aftermath of the venomous beam, Ben acknowledged its potency.

"Crap! That venom is truly deadly," he muttered.

Feeling another imminent threat, Ben turned to face the serpent but was met with a swift tail that struck him.

"SHI-" Ben exclaimed.

Sent flying towards the cliff, Ben braced himself for impact.

*BAMM*

"UGH!" Ben grunted as the female serpent unleashed another venomous breath. Swiftly dodging the attack, Ben covered his feet with light, jumping away to avoid the venom.

However, the coiled female serpent followed, leaping towards Ben with her mouth agape.

"WHAT?!" Ben widened his eyes.

Helplessly midair, Ben faced the impending threat.

"MOTHERF-" Ben began.

*PLOP* *GULP*

The female serpent closed her mouth, devouring Ben whole.

Seemingly Ben's end, an unexpected turn of events occurred. The serpent experienced intense heat and discomfort as Ben initiated his "Sun Mode: Super Heated Body." The serpent thrashed in agony, ultimately succumbing to the internal heat.

Emerging from the serpent's mouth, Ben, now naked and glowing like the sun, stood victorious.

"That's what you get for trying to eat me," declared the radiant Ben.
