Alarmed

Divus tried to wake the two up immediately. The crackling of the branching was something to be wary of, even if it was a false alarm. If Alfalogia was here, she could use her detection magic with her Eyes of the Fairy Dragon, too bad his Eyes weren't at that level yet.

"Fairy Sheild!" Divus prompted. Alfalogia has prepared him for combat when they were together, through numerous simulations. His foolproof strategy was to always use the shield to protect himself and then find their weakness. The only person this didn't work against was Alfalogia herself, who was just a better version than himself in every way possible.

After a few annoying groans, Vania managed out a sleepy "Whatsss going on~", still slurring her words a bit.

"Something to be alarmed about, I heard branches breaking", he responded. Divus Approached where he heard the sound come from, slowly but steadily. There was a bush in front of him blocking his view. He came close until he heard a small growl, and then Divus acted, he quickly went forward charged with his shield. However, this shield was not normal, it protected his entire body, and was larger than the 12-year-old himself. The only thing letting him see in front of him was a small hole in the shield which was used for sight.

"STOPPPPPPPPPPP" yelled Vania. "That's a baby bear! You cant hurt such a precious thing!". The possibility of the bear being hurt woke Vania up from her stupor. She ran over and went over to hug the small creature. In her hands, the creature looks like it could do no harm. All of the animals that Divus fought in simulations were super hostile, and it was a fight or be hurt type environment.

"Bu-"

"No buts, you almost hurt such a cute animal, he could do no harm." Vania had the which was almost the size of her playing with her as if it wasn't like they just met.

Divus was a bit jealous that something so cute could be in Vania's hand. He slowly closed into the cute looking bear to try and pet him out of jealousy. How did the situation escalate from trying to attack him to try to pet him? Divus could only wonder, but for him, petting the cute looking animal was much harder than fighting him.

He came closer and closer, until when the cute bear noticed his plans, and he then immediately reacted with a large aggressive growl. "Well, that reaction is normal you tried to hurt him", adding in a face with her tongue out to make fun of him. Divus, didn't show his disappointment on his face, however, he was inside hurt a lot.

"Where can I find one?"

The next morning the old man woke up, having slept through the entire situation like a rock. He found Vania sleeping on top of a small baby bear peacefully, and Divus nowhere to be found. He thought he might as well ready up for the journey ahead. They were at a pretty good pace, as they were about to reach Magnolia in about a day and a half, half a day earlier than expected.

After about a half-hour, Divus came back with dark circles under his eyes, with his emotionless face nowhere to be found, and was now visibly annoyed. Gale thought to himself 'What's with this weird kid?'. Although he was a quite strang person himself, Divus was on another level.

"Hey kiddo, what were you doing last night?". Being quite a nosy person himself, Gale wanted to know what crazy thing this kid did, after all, this kid was the most interesting thing that had happened in a while to him, although it couldn't hold a handle to his adventuring days in his mind.

"Alarm, Bear, Cute, Wanted to Find one." Responded the pissed off Divus. He thought if he found another baby bear that he hadn't attacked then he could have one like Vania. However, it wasn't that simple. He needed to find another one. In the end, he couldn't find one, so he settled for a rabbit. However, another thing stumbled his plan. He wasn't good with animals and they were immediately afraid of him. He had never taken care of one before so the rabbit ran away, then when he caught it, he kept kicking him and wasn't being cute.

He just wanted something cute, because he never had something like that. Divus started the next day off with his spoiled mindset hurt, and tired.
