Suzy's frustration

The night had fallen, and the event was over. Suzy had delivered her usual post-event speech, a mix of gratitude and scolding for the staff, though today, the kitchen staff had received most of her ire. Joon, the head cook, wore a disappointed expression as he absorbed Suzy's words. Nearby, Minae stood with Yuna, attempting to catch Joon's attention, but it seemed futile. Minae's own spirits had dipped, mirroring the melancholic atmosphere.

After Suzy's speech, Joon vanished from the scene as if he had been whisked away by an invisible force. He disappeared so swiftly that it left everyone bewildered.

Minae leaned in closer to Yuna, her voice a soft whisper, barely audible over the commotion around them. "My brother is on his way," she informed Yuna. "You can catch a ride with us."

Minho, Minae's brother and a police officer, had arrived in his patrol car, marked with the police insignia. The sight of Minho's vehicle drew the attention of those around them, and as the group approached, the atmosphere seemed to shift. Minae's mood was still low, and she stopped by the car, leaving Yuna behind momentarily.

From a distance Suzy noticed a patrol car draw close it could only belong to Minho. She watched as Minae stomp to the car like a child leaving behind Yuna.  She observes as Minho gets off his patrol car still looking dashing in his attire, opening the car door for Yuna. She was observing every detail that she had long discarded her conversation with the truck driver.

Suzy's frustration continued to brew as she observed Minho and Yuna interacting near his police car. Her crush on Minho had been ongoing since high school, and she had been making some progress with him before Yuna entered the picture. Now, seeing Minho and Yuna talking and smiling together, her irritation grew.

In her mind, Suzy started creating scenarios where Minho and Yuna were in the front seat of his car, possibly sharing an intimate moment. These thoughts further agitated her. Why had Minae not taken the front seat? It was one of the things that annoyed Suzy about Minae. Minae had known her for a long time and might even have sensed Suzy's crush on him, yet she rarely intervened when Yuna and Minho seemed to be growing close.

Suzy's frustration reached a boiling point. She couldn't take another emotional blow, and she was determined not to let this situation continue.

Minho was ecstatic about the chance to spend some one-on-one time with Yuna. His plan was to drop off Minae first and then head to Yuna's place, hoping for a moment alone with her. He found Yuna extremely attractive and wanted to get to know her better. However, Yuna was usually quiet, and finding the right moment to express his feelings without overwhelming her was a challenge. Still, he was determined to take things slow and make their connection feel natural.
