I entered my room and immediately walked to the shower, cleaning the sweat off my body. When I got out, I slipped into a pair of shorts, and a blue tank top, since I was alone in my room. I grabbed a book off the ledge, flipping through the pages and reading a random page while lying on my stomach on my comfy bed.
I flicked through the pages of the book, reading page after page, but the dull pain at the side of my head made me unfocused, and I dropped the book. The pain felt sharp as I could feel the headache settling in. I took a deep breath, willing to calm myself as I closed my eyes.
My door opened before I could let sleep overtake me, and the smell of good cheese wafted through my nose. I raised my head to see Aiden with his Ray-Bans pushed off his forehead, in socks, and his varsity jacket hanging on his shoulder with two plates filled with one of my favorite food in his hands. "They're not Aiden's special, but they taste just as good." He said.
