"Is he coming out soon?" Elaine asked impatiently, tapping her foot on the ground.
Her face had paints all over it, and she was wearing the team visor on her hands. She begged me this morning to put it on her quickly. And I did as she asked, making her happy on the way to the stadium. She was standing on her seat as we looked down at the other team, making their way to the center.
"Soon," I told her as we looked over to the field in anticipation, and I felt a hint of nostalgia hit me. When we were still in school, I never for once missed his games. It was a regular routine for us, and now, we brought our children into it.
I adjusted the camera around my neck as my eyes scanned through the crowd. Elaine tapped me on the shoulder, grabbing my attention to herself.
"Where's Thanny?" Elaine asked of her brother, looking in the direction we had just walked through.
