Fading Horizons

In a world ravaged by a mysterious, natural disaster, clouds pass over the Earth, transforming everything they touch into a bleak, black-and-white wasteland. Anyone caught in this monochrome zone vanishes, disintegrating into bluish-silver dust. Humanity becomes chaotic as the sky darkens and the clouds approach without warning. Amidst this disaster, a young girl must fight to survive and protect her loved ones. Racing against time, she struggles to outrun the clouds and keep her family and friends from disappearing into nothingness. With every passing moment, the world around her becomes less recognizable, and the only certainty is the ever-present threat of the vanishing point.

Meeting 1

Christine spends a few hours on her tablet and gets bored of it. She stands up and heads for the outside door. Suddenly Alex comes out of nowhere and frightens her; she jumps and then sighs. Should we wake Layla up, asked Christine? "Don't worry, she will soon wake up; why don't you come back now and sit?" said Alex. No, I want t go outside I'll come back in less than 30 minutes.

Christine walks out through the door, and Alex sits beside Layla, raising her head up and placing it on his lap to make space for himself. Layla starts breathing heavily. Alex tries to calm her down. She then snaps out of it and opens her eyes. She sees Alex and cools down."Where is Christine?" asks Layla, still lying on Alex's lap. She's outside and she's enjoying the snow, said Alex pointing out through the window Layla sees Christine and then turns to the note in her hand; she shoves it in her pocket and gets up to sit right.

Christine is outside, sitting at the veranda. She stands up and falls into the snow to make some snow angels. When she sees Layla from the window, she dusts herself and goes inside.

Hello; Layla akwardly greets Christine then answers to and takes a portable plastic chair and comes to sit in front of Layla and Alex.

I don't even know how to start this, said Christine as she sighs and pulls back into her chair. Well, we are going to hold a meeting, said Alex. I'd be back in a jiffy. He brings down a foldable whiteboard, a sort of new tech it can fold into the shape of a piece of paper, some markers along with a map, and a few pegs he could find.

This is us right here in Hujiang city; he circles the city on the map. The vanishing, which is coming from these sides, he pointed, and he drew the letter V on the points where the vanishing will be coming from to approach the city. We have to escape from the city in order to survive. He then stops, and you understand now any questions he asks. Layla and Christine begin to giggle like they were thinking of the same thing. Layla then says, "You'd make a good teacher." Yeah, said Christine as she nodded in agreement He sighs and says, "can I continue now". Alright, choroused Christine and Layla.

In order to survive, we need to get away from the vanishing to a safe spot, which will then be our new base—where we would live. I don't think we should discuss life after The Vanishing said Christine that may be too optimistic; who know if we would even survive this. Layla makes a frown, "We would all survive this and live as a happy family all together.". Erhemm said Christine as she cleared her throat, "which family?". Layla and Christine started to argue.

Stop Alex said in a cool, commanding, deep voice. Layla and Christine stopped instantly. This is life about life and death; if you are not serious about it, we might as well leave it and die. I would have gone alone, but I can't leave Layla alone, and Layla can't leave Christine alone. Christine takes a deep breath and turns her chair again to properly face the whiteboard Alex had placed in front of them.
