Chapter 30

A week after the wedding, Cass and Sophia had to leave. So I was all alone again and Chris called to say he would be back before the month ends. I was excited and looking forward to the time we would get to spend together since he won't be far away anymore.

Danny called yesterday to inquire where I wanted us to talk. I picked a quiet place without people. My house. Yes my house. I needed a place where I would feel comfortable and be able to shout my lungs out without anyone giving me looks. I know it's the most wrong mistake one can ever do but, I can't go back on my words now can I?

He told me he had a lot to do at the office but he will be make it by 6pm. By half past 5, I was already making dinner. I know what you're thinking and yes I am crazy and completely lacking sense. It was something simple.

At exactly six, I heard my doorbell ring. Finally somebody uses the freaking doorbell. I suddenly became nervous. I am going to need a miracle to come out if this sane.
