The Song of the End 6 (Kyrie's side)

With Wolf Prince in hand, Kyrie stared at the Valkyries' advance. Kyrie looked back at the people compromising the ranged unit. Seeking to stare at Spencer one last time, and find Lily, but sadly, neither of them were in his field of view.

He could hear them, and smell their emotions, but it was not the same as seeing them one last time with his two eyes. Kyrie closed his lips and turned on his heel to go over the edge of the building he lonely stopped at the top.

His hand still trembled, and his nose bled, but his heart was strangely at peace. Like many times before… he had made amends with his possible demise in the line of duty, and to lay down his life for the sake of victory and shielding the innocents one last time.

Now was the time to prove to himself, and the world what he was capable of. He was not afraid, and if it was Kyrie's ballad under this unforgiving winter, so be it. He shall go without regrets, he failed too many times.
