Trance
Eve's POV
I know I was in a trance because seen countless movies about people who were put in a trance, but I was to see two people who looked like me in my subconscious.
They both looked different, one had glowing red eyes and was putting a fur—like coat. I didn't know whether it was cold or just part of her fashion. She looked hot in it.
The other me was looking pale with blood shot eyes and seemed cold and reserved and wore some pale looking cloth.
"Hello eve our host and main half we finally meet" the one with white fur coat while the other one was looking at me in the back.
"Who are you guys again because I've met many people I don't remember outside my subconscious" I said to the hot me
"you won't remember us because I already messed with your one-day memory" the hot me spoke up
"your friend Nelly did help though she would have locked me up like her dad did years when you were born, I don't she's that smart to even remember the spell" she added
"just tell her and stop messing around" the cold me said coldly to the other me
"it was a surprise she didn't mess this one up" she added while folding her arms and turning to the side
"Hold on, you messed my mind ?" I asked in a surprise manner,
"more like our mind I just kept that day memory because you were, and I could feel that you weren't to accept who you are and what you are" the hot me said in a deep concerned tone
"So what am I? And who are you?" I asked, trying to get them to talk,
"first of all, be careful whatever you do here will affect you outside your subconscious" the cold me answered
I retreated a bit to relax myself and prepare for whatever they were going to say.
MC'S Narrative
Outside her subconscious, the trio could be seen standing over Eve and looking at her with concern
"are you sure you didn't she mess up this time" Stella said to Nathan while referring to Nelly
"I know I'm not that smart, and I mess up my spells, but am sure about this particular spell it's hard to mess it up" Nelly says in defense
"am just saying because you also mess up not only spells but your school homework most at times" Stella added, then noticed that Nathan was busy watching and pretending not to listen to them
She tapped his shoulder to get his opinion on this, and he turned to her "let's just believe her" Nathan says to end the useless fight that was about to ensure between the two female friends
"so what should we do about her then, we can't leave her lying here like this" Nelly says, pointing to Eve who was now lying on the ground
"I am going to move her to her ward, what was her ward room number" Nathan asked
"it's No.27 on the right side of the corridor" a voice sounded behind them making a jolt out of their discussion and turning to the direction of the voice
They saw a female nurse and looking at them suspiciously and Nelly's heart started beating thinking that the nurse might suspect that they might have something to do with Eve's lying on the ground
"were you not going to drop her at her ward when you asked for her ward number" she asked while pointing to the direction of the ward then left them without saying another word
Phew, Nelly sighs as she patter her chest then looked at Nathan who picked up Eve from the ground
"seriously Nelly are you that easily scared" Nathan says to Nelly sounding irritated, then walks off with Eve in his arms.
As he walked through the corridor, he was followed by Stella while Nelly stood there for some seconds before joining them
When Nathan went to her wardroom, they met another nurse who was setting up her then saw them come in with Eve, and she signalled them to hurry and get her in bed.
"What happened to her, I thought I saw go for a stroll a few minutes ago" the nurse asks
"she slept off while we were chatting" Stella answered while tucking Eve, who was already in the bed
"Okay then" the nurse said as she took to look around before leaving them.
They also left some minutes after dressing her in bed to come by later for a visit, as they left, a man dressed like a magician with a golden walked into her ward and towards.
"So you are the one the legend says will conquer the demon king, a mere child who is weak, let's see how powerful you are because you'll be crushed before the demon king" he said as he looked down at her lying in a peaceful state then chuckled evilly before leaving the room.
Eve's POV…
I was in shock on how I had two different selves in my subconscious mind
"we are you, but we are not yet united and syncing with each other right now" hot me said
"I am a white werewolf, the strongest ever known to be and alpha, she's a vampire called bloodhound. Together we are called the hybrid, but you are going to known as the chosen one" the wolf adds
"I'm quite understanding but let's say I do, then why am I in a trance am meant to be retrieving my lost memory not having with my subconscious mind" I quoted to them.
"She can't seem to read into words" the vamp says
"since it's like that, I'll broaden it for her then that memory you need is up here in my mind, which is also yours but can only be accessed by me" the wolf explains
"but for you to retrieve it you need to show me you're worthy because we are all going to merge, and you have to learn to sync with us and be in control" she adds
I just stood listening because I was starting to understand that I'm not just a mere human but something better, something powerful, and I need to be strong to take charge, I nodded to her to go on.
"You'll have to engage in physical combat with any of us, so which of us will it be?" she asks as she concluded.
"Physical combat mm, I'll go with her" I said pointing at the vampire, and she smiled for the first time before taking a stance with her arms crossed.
"Wishing you good luck Eve " the wolf said and disappeared in the shadows, I wasn't afraid of a physical because at my age I was already a black belt holder.
I stood in my fighting stance ready for some combat......
