Chapter 1: Gold Finger finally arrives!

As the cool breeze blew on the mountain top, a cold metallic machine like voice sounded in Buzz's mind.

But he simply ignored it. He was immersed in the unfathomable sensation of becoming invincible.

At last, for some reason, Buzz started crying. He cried his heart out. It took him 180, 777, 999, 333, 999, 777, 180 years to reach the peak of cultivation and beyond.

He had just hoped throughout his life that his gold finger will arrive. But, it never arrived. It only arrived at this moment, when his cultivation journey has long since ended.

Buzz was never cut out to be a novel protagonist. He was just a normal fellow. Before his arrival in this world, he was a library owner, a novel writer, an orphanage owner. Besides, he was also a rich second generation, but no one knew this until his death.

Buzz died a very miserable death. One day, while he was still on Earth, he saved an orphan from a truck accident. He was admitted into emergency ward of G.K International Hospital. While the orphan was admitted in his orphanage.

Perhaps, either because of good luck or bad luck, he survived and miraculously made recovery to his peak state in just 3 months. Then, on a rainy day, he saved a downtrodden and drunk white - collar warrior from thunder strike by taking it himself. This caused him severe nerve damage and paralysis.

Other day, he saved a librarian from a remote library which was on fire, after he recovered from paralysis and all in 10 month. He got badly burnt from head to toe. But he recovered from it in 1 month.

At this point, he had already gone through so much pain that he wanted to die.

The funny thing was, the orphan he saved was killed by an business tycoon as the orphan was last remenant of his rival's family. The white collar warrior commited suicide due to being unable to cope with work pressure and other matters, shortly after the incident.

The librarian of that remote library dead due to lung blockage and breath shortness, due inhaling too much smoke.

Buzz was greatly sad after he found out all these things. He used his rich second generation's back account to financially support the white collar warrior's and librarian's families.

He never told those people that their children were dead. He didn't had that much courage.

Buzz never thought that after those incidents, almost all his friends would die due to various accidents one by one, or in bunch.

He was utterly depressed. Buzz was actually a very neutral person. But he still kept much optimistic thought process.

Buzz never believed nor denied the existence of God. He never followed or disrespected any religion. He was a common neutral man in every way possible.

Then suddenly, he died. Not by accidents but, while stopping a old man from falling to his death. He had no remorse for his action. That old man was unrelated to him. And he was satisfied because he was able to save that person's life , before miserably falling to his own death moments later.

Then, the world spun. The light went out. Darkness swept and covered all his vision. And after that, he awakened his astral projection like form. It was commonly known as soul by people.

The soul was anxious, not because of death but due to the changes it was experiencing. The old man gazed deeply at the soul.

" You did did all your duties excellently,

You never wavered in doing what was right,

You faced the death without fear,

You respected flow of Time while also having a good heart while darkest hours,

You tried saving someone completely unrelated to you, in this day and age of sin and slaughter! " An aged voice said beside his nonexistent ears.

"You have passed the tests of Competence, Will, Nature, Time, and most importantly Soul." The old man continued in the same aged voice, which appeared ancient and full of divine wisdom.

Buzz was not able to understand what was happening. He was confused, deeply. He had many questions to ask the old man. But one question, still seemed too important to be left unasked. And so he asked in an strange and languid voice.

"Are you God? The one who is behind this all ?"

The Old man was stunned, for some moments. He then nodded his head, before he shook his sideways. This answered my question, somewhat I guess. God smiled a little." You would receive your gifts after the criteria test is completed by you. All the best for your new life." He said in his wizened and aged voice.

Buzz was then reincarnated into a higher plane of existence. A medium high level cultivation world, to be exact. And the rest is history.

Buzz still remembered every single moment vividly in mind. He had already climbed to the very peak of cultivation world of the High Peak level Cultivation Plane, where he ascended before finally reaching the highest realm possible : The Godless Realm.

Buzz willed his soul to enter reincarnation after leaving his immortal body. The process was gruesome and painful but he persisted.

Soon, the world turned dark. Once again. His soul was personally fetched by Supreme Death Ruler : Yama himself. Yama respectfully kowtowed towards his soul before taking his soul to cycle of reincarnation.
