Suddenly, a voice shattered the silence.

Shocked and on edge, Haru whipped around to his left, instinctively launching a clenched fist at the source of the voice.
But just as quickly, he froze and his fist stopped mid-air.
He was stunned.
To his left, there was only a wall and his faint shadow, formed by the light spilling through the small window.
A wall and a shadow. Completely normal. Except it wasn't.
The shadow moved unnaturally. Its features contorted, forming eyes and a mouth—clear, evil, and impossibly alive.
