Into the Fray

A variety of beasts and humans mutated after the first spread of the mutation virus. A good number of these mutants were located in Delta, the heart of the nation. Many first-class warriors were born in Delta making them to become very popular over the years. Vigoria, rated as one of the top five countries in the world based on research related to mutation generally attracted strong and vibrant young men to their elite schools so they could train and become Earth's pinnacle warriors like Tekedor and Ketas one of the most powerful men on earth, who were Vigorians!

Over the years, humanity began calling those affected by the mutation virus - Mutants, and they were very dangerous, doctors usually use this species for research on how to combat the virus, and they have finally been able to tame beasts infected with the MT virus which is a huge contribution to the country.

Dan being a Deltan and growing up in Delta, had dreams and aspirations to completely free planet Earth from the attack of monsters. He fears that one day, the beasts may leave the wilderness and come to town and destroy everything that humanity has built over the years. That was what warriors all over the country were being trained to fight against. Warriors in Delta were particularly concerned about eradicating all beasts from their towns, forests, and wilderness

~~~~The Museum~~~~~

Dan was fond of going to the museum with his father to see different mutants, both man and beast, and Dan always loved each visit.

One day at the museum, Dan and his father strolled among the captivating displays of mutants, each one a testament to the wonders and dangers of the mutation virus. The air buzzed with whispered tales and hushed gasps as visitors marveled at the diverse creatures before them.

Amidst the shadows and flickering lights, Dan's eyes landed on a spectacle that held him spellbound—a Mermaid Mutant, her aquatic beauty, and hypnotic gaze drawing him closer with an irresistible allure. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as they locked eyes, a silent conversation passing between them.

But the serenity was shattered by the urgent voices of security guards, pulling Dan away from the mesmerizing mermaid. Their stern warnings echoed in his ears, cautioning him never to meet the gaze of a mermaid mutant again.

The Mutants of the sea especially the Mermaids and Mermen were very powerful hypnotists, it is very hard to identify one when they come ashore. It is said that they grow legs while on land. That was a special ability they got from this new gene, and they were very dangerous. Once matured, they could kill a full-grown man with their gaze. An ancient doctor had tamed this mermaid, and she only listened to him. But now the doctor is dead, the seal is broken, and all that could be done now was to cage the mermaid. Using modern technology they were able to stop her from growing so that she won't get to the stage of teleportation and escape from the museum to cause havoc in the outside world. Every Mermaid or Merman has three stages before they become invisible and extremely powerful and dangerous.

Stage 1: Hypnotism

Stage 2: Telekinesis

Stage 3: Teleportation

A mermaid at the Teleportation stage is very hard to tame.

The Mermaid caged, was at the Advanced Level Telekinesis Stage which means she could control life Forms from their blood cells and could as well make man stop breathing. Just a little breakthrough and she could teleport out of the cage. But humanity won't let that happen. The Vigorian government invested a lot of money to suppress the mermaid's power and stop her growth so that, she wouldn't have a breakthrough; and it has been successful thus far.

Dan breathed heavily as he regained his consciousness, whilst he was scared of what he just encountered, he was more curious now about the mutated beasts.

Dan just checked his admission status from his JAMB caps and saw he was admitted...

He leaped for joy ~~~~

This was the first step in him becoming a warrior. He was super excited.

Students admitted into colleges in Vigoria do not get placed in a department until the placement test, where the energy core of each student admitted would be triggered to know if they would be placed in the regular student-faculty or the elite student-faculty.

It was the dream of every student to be admitted into the elite student faculty but not everyone would make it. Many, are born with a normal energy core while very few get to have a special energy core which would grow and produce diverse powers in each student. From the placement test, they can tell if a student would end up becoming any of the five greatest warrior department types in the elite faculty
